And you guys dont think we will make the playoffs only because we had a bad year last season. Well guess what, McNabb was still pulling the Eagles to .500 ball last year for most of the whole disaster. Imagine what he and we can do when we get a healthy McNabb. If you say we don't have enough recievers. How many great recievers did we have during the period when it was a given for us to make the NFC Champ game? Westbrook, LJ Smith and Reggie Brown will do the trick. And McNabb is a top 5 QB. He will find someone to pass to anyway. We will be running the ball more with Westbrook and Moats taking more carries next year. I guarentee that.Now, look at the defense. We will have a hugely improved defensive line next year. Watch out for The Freak, Jevon Kearse. I guarentee that he will have an improved year over last season. Also, newly signed Darren Howard will be a force on the other end. He is another marvelous defensive end, and you can bet your buck that there will be alot of tips, and sacks next year from those two. After that we have Mike Patterson, who had a pretty impressive rookie year. I bet he will do well again. Now, our LB core isn't great but Trotter is a beast. He is a freak at getting tackles, and also heading through the line of scrimmage to pressure or sack the QB or stop the RB dead in his tracks. Trotter is a workhorse at LB and he should have another great year.Now, look at our secondary defense. Look at the names here. Shelden Brown, Mike Lewis, Brian Dawkins, and Lito Shepard. That is a GREAT core right there. Shelden and Lito are both very solid. And Dawk and Mike are both at the front-end of their position. It should be difficult for the opposing passing game.Next, look at our schedule. We play the Texans, Giants, 49ers and Packers in the first month. It should be a piece of cake to be atleast 3-1, or even 4-0 through that period. It is pretty much inevitable that we should beat teams like the Texans, 49ers, and Packers, so we should have a great headstart for the season.Now, with that writeup have I changed anyone's mind?

Because thier division is hard because they are in the same one as the Redskins, Giants, and Cowboys. They have 6 division games against those 3 teams. No way will they win the division or come in 2nd. I'm thinking it'll go 1.Giants, 2. Redskins, 3Cowboys, 4Eagles. Then they dont have a true number 1 reciever and no running game. Its looking like a disaster waiting the happen to me.

The Eagles have a brutal schedule at the end of the year... three straight division road games. Ouch...

The Redskins, Cowboys, and Giants are a ton better now than in years past. Thats why.

I agree with PJ, the division is just getting better by the minute and the Eagles will be the odd team out.

Nope, but they'll be close. They might sneak in as a 3rd NL East team but I don't think so. My playoff teams: NFC Playoff Teams:Seahawks, Panthers, Falcons, Cowboys, Giants, Bears Redskins and Eagles should be tied for 3rd in the division and 7th in the conference.Don't add me in this, but I hope the Eagles do make it.

How bout them Cowboys! My superbowl pick...Let's just hope Parcells, Bledsoe and TO all just get along...Don't add me. Although my favorite player on defense is Brian Dawkins (I'm on that bandwagon)

I don't know, the Eagles have a damn good defense and in my opinion the best draft this past year. It all depends on injuries and if a WR steps up because the Eagles have a terrible recieving core.

True, but Deion Branch reportedly is seeking a trade out of New England. We might be able to get him, and if we did we would have a decent recieving core.And we also have LJ Smith and Brian Westbrook besides Reggie Brown to work with anyway. We never had a good WR core when we made the NFC Champsn game all those times so I do not see the big deal.Come on BCB. Join the bandwagon.

If Deion Branch comes, that increases their chances by far. But I still pick the Giants and the Cowboys over them.
