Probably the missing piece!Who is he?
So untouchable, we can't even sign him.Probably the missing piece!
Who is he?
Crazy Question:
If he's so injured, why not go back to school?

Twice.This thread tore it's ACL.
Brooklyn heard we're interested, so they offered him the MLE.
Underrated comment
Won’t be surprised if we somehow ended up with the dude. Maybe it’s going to be a spot on the 15-man roster and they have an agreement but need to be careful for the order in which they let the agreement be known (obviously a much smaller scale, but think back to when Zo Mourning said he agreed to a deal with the Heat before Juwan Howard and the NBA then blocked the Howard signing and he went back to the Heat). The order in which agreements occur can impact salary cap flexibility. Plus, if he were being signed to the 15-man, even non-guaranteed, it couldn’t happen for another week. Maybe Portland has a move they’re ready to make and they’re going to take a flier on this kid as the 15th man.
Maybe I’m overthinking it. But I won’t be surprised if this is how it goes down, either.

While some comments are Zionesque, that one was Nassiresque.
I’d love it if it were a “troll” where the Jontay is like, “we agreed on that day, but the journalist said I ‘signed’. I didn’t sign that day, but I did agree.”
Wouldn't surprise me one bit.
We're counting on you, FAMSI’m heading back to PDX on Monday...... I’ll keep my eye out for him at the airport.
