Jordan owns Lebron

Yeah so? I used to be a Laker mod, I know Kobe a lot better than you. I saw every post-season Laker game the last three seasons.

The reality is you're being a little kid yourself, you believe what you want to believe but Kobe choked in the Finals and this can be proven. Everything you said is nonsense in comparison, because it is just your opinion.

The Heat suck, oh but what does that have to do with last year? You must be confused. Whether or not you like LeBron it doesn't change the fact that you just avoided all the important points in my post.

1) Kobe's not clutch, sorry. At every point last year he underperformed compared to LBJ.
2) You saying he's clutch doesn't mean anything, It has zero value. That's a little kid tactic. Man up and show me these amazing clutch periods. Oh no wait you can't, because they don't exist.
3)The analogy stands, because you can not produce anything to discredit it. Again refer to what was actually said in the commercial. Hard work buddy, not letting Kobe get away with choking while you rail on a superior player.
4)Kobe had 15 PER against the Oklahoma city thunder and his team still won. He was terrible, KD was just more terrible.
5) Kobe shot 29% in the fourth quarter, that seems like the definition of anti closer, if there ever was one.
6) DWade also sucks this year, and he's better than Kobe.
7)In fact both LeBron and Wade were much much better than Kobe against elite defenses, and they both suck this year. That has probably a lot more to do with chemistry than any talent Kobe has.
8) Lol having fun? Don't worry about what I tell Patriot next time, dude.

I was until sorry, this silliness above. I don't like fake qualities attributed to people.

Anyone man enough to actually prove their claims, I'd like to hear from them.

I still respect LA/Kobe though.

How do I man up to prove my claim of preferring Kobe taking a last second shot over lebron? Lol

Meh it is cool, you're not a bad guy. You don't have to prove anything, I was generalizing.

Please, explain this one. I'm quite curious to hear this. Kobe has a higher efficiency rating per NBA.com (22.19 to 18.56), and is outperforming Wade in nearly every statistical category (Wade is marginally better in FG% and rebounds and significantly better in blocks), and Wade is only marginally better. Oh yea, and Kobe's playing less minutes. Yea...Wade is REALLY outplaying Kobe this year...

Should have kept reading then, if you didn't catch it.

You said Kobe isn't clutch. Clutch isn't determined by 15 games when a guy has played in the league since 1996. You're just trolling to get a rise out of people. Your arguments don't even make sense anymore. I can't believe you actually got me to defend Kobe.... hahaha

Yes...because playing against elite defenses is CLEARLY all that matters in the NBA now. Who cares about the other 65 games you'll end up playing in a year against poor to mediocre defensive teams...it's all about this 15-17 games you play against great defense. Right...

I do think Kobe is a clutch player, overall. In the Finals he wasn't though.

Well what exactly is your convoluted argument then?

You're using regular season games from 2007 to prove what exactly? You're wasting my time, and you've yet to provide any coherent argument as to why Kobe was clutch in the 2010 post-season.

Yes Kobe hasn't won a Finals MVP until age 31, I don't think that line of reasoning shows anything. It proves he played with a great player who averaged 36 a game in the finals, while he was just along for the ride. At each step you've failed to make any point, because I have watched plenty of Kobe games you can ask the Laker supporters in this very thread. The truth is you just have no idea how to defend your side, you just feel like spewing random nonsense about clutch people, and then decide not to back it up with anything.

My real opinion of Kobe is that he's a great, top 8 player of all time or something like that. He's hardly deserved all this fanfare in the past season though, his prime is way over. He's a Magic Johnson level player, I think even slightly better. So no I'm not a hater at all I just like to give people the exact amount of credit they deserve. No more or less.

He wasn't better against mediocre/poor Defenses either....

Being able to shred top 10 defenses is a pretty useful skill though, I'd say.

I already said Kobe was better than Wade this season though, in fact I think he would fit on the Heat better.

And you've been spewing nonsense through this entire thread. It's like you're arguing with yourself, because you've been putting words in my mouth the whole time.

I never said he was clutch until you brought it up.

I never said he was clutch in the playoffs last season.

Who said anything about Finals MVP?

Where are you even getting these points? The thread was about a fake commercial where Jordan's words are used to make LeBron James look bad for making excuses. Kobe was never mentioned until you brought him up in your strange "analogy". I have no idea how to defend my side because you keep changing my side. Why don't you go back and reread the thread. I said it didn't make sense to compare LeBron to two players who have won multiple championships.

Seriously, you ramble on and make claims but you're making very little sense. You're arguing with yourself here because I have no idea what you're talking about.

I'll be brief, in a concise way that even you, can understand.

1. How can you complain about comparing a "multiple" champion to James, and then say you didn't infer he was clutch? You're destroying your own argument, titles mean nothing without the intangible and mythical qualities.
2. This commercial is Kobe approved, and made for all the people in the world that love to talk about intangibles. It's for Laker fans too, as you can see in this thread.
3. I then made a comment to a Laker Fan in this thread (who I respect actually), about someone from the Lakers, to expose a sanctimonious idea. And then I got into a discussion with Moo (who I also respect, though he may not think it).

It started as a personal discussion with LA people here. If you also don't feel like supporting your statements, that's fine. Why get involved? Don't next time. :]
