He has no incentive to sign more than a one year deal, as he will be eligible for a larger max the next offseason FYI. I don't think he's going to be leaving till 2017 if he does.

JJ is the largest expiring contract in the NBA not named Kobe I believe. I'd think the nets would like to trade him for anything at this point.

DeRozan is on the trade block from what I've seen reported, but who knows?

If Wes recovers, these two signings could be huge for them. I'm not sure if they're contenders, but at least DJ and Wes are still in their prime.

Who is going to handle the ball in Dallas? Who can create? Devin Harris? They don't have Barea, they don't have Rondo... The Mavs did not improve their roster.

Yeah that'd be interesting, and it does justify the "my sources say Dallas is somehow still in the mix even though I don't know why" remarks earlier in the day/yesterday and the "why did Wessy take less money to go to Dallas?"
