TANAKA 12-3 2.27ERA VS BAUER 2-4 4.42ERA

Gardner
Jeter
Ellsbury
Teixiera
McCann
Roberts
Suzuki
Johnson
Wheeler

And I'm thinking, 13-3

Damn Jeter really tagged that one. Shame it was to the deepest part of the park.

Tanaka struggling in the 1st inning. 1 run on 24 pitches. Yankees lead 2-1 after one.

...it's nice to have a starter like Tanaka and pretty much counting every start as a win.

...what the hell is Ellsbury doing trying to steal 3B with 2 out?

^^^just read it, rick...actually, I've never even been to Arkansas...myself and others only bring it up because of an episode a few months ago when the exalted mod used his infallible miracle web tools and swore that according to my IP address, that I was located in Arkansas...pretty funny stuff.

Oh gotcha, I just figured somebody knew about it.

Tanaka's last 3 starts......he's hit the proverbial wall.

Will teammates add any more runs? Ugh.

They let this garbage pitcher off the hook tonight. Hopefully they can find a run in the next two innings.

Make that two runs. 5-3 Tribe as Brantley goes yard.

Brantley has become a very good payer. But with Tanaka out there the Yankees offense again fails to find a way to score. The started early last night, stalled and were probably lucky to win. Tonight again, start early, stall and up to this point fail.

Yeah I'm just hoping he's not running out of gas already. I almost wish he would rest for the entire all star break, Kind of re-energize.

Damn I hope so....I was hoping to see Tanaka with at least 20 wins, still within reach...! As well as ROY, and Cy Young, but now he's going to have some serious competition b/t both, of course unless his competitors fall on their faces, or lose steam, shades of Reggie in 68...last half...what 6 dingers in the last half, or was that 8...my minds burned out, I would normally recollect that # without referring to his stats sheet.....Growing older is a bitch at times like these....long hot days, and not enough Margaritas....!

...scheduling him to pitch this Sunday may have been part of a plan by the Yanx...if he pitches Sunday, he won't pitch in the AS game.

1969 Reggie had 37 HRs at the ASB & only hit 10 more the rest of the season finishing with 47.

^^^and both Frank Howard and Harmon Killebrew ended up hitting more HRs than Reggie in '69.

Tanaka is looking mortal. We need superhuman ninja.
