Perhaps but only a fucking tard would ask for a link to something that happened in the 60s.

Yeah I know, but it is close enough...

Perhaps but only a fucking tard would ask for a link to something that happened in the 60s.

Maybe, but only a psycho liar would expect people to believe a story he made up.

Please. Tard is not PC. Please use the term "LSD Burnout" instead.

Thanks.

3.1M is 1% of the whole country, not of the age 12-25 group. Also, you'll find a much higher percent among those who came of age in the 70s. I don't believe the 5000 number.

Edit: Ha ha, I just looked at your sites. Every one is right-wing antidrug propaganda. Way to go!

Edit: ha ha. The cdc.gov type URLs means government sites. As in center for disease control, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, Census Bureau, etc.

My $.02 is that government should not govern morality. Do what you want on your own property just dont drive on public streets under the influence of anything that can impair judgement.

Im a christian by religious definition but I hate republicans and democrats the same. I like to clarify that since most people lump Christian and republican together as synonyms

I love how some that never took this substance thinks they know everything about it because they googled... LMAO!

Well, you know that I have done my share and am overall am in favor of removing the illegal and immoral stigma surrounding hallucinogens, but to act as if there is no danger is also incorrect. Just because I have never shot heroin doesnt mean I can't google it and provide a long list of reasons why one should stay away from heroin, and likewise those who have not dropped acid can still offer their opinion.

It's a more complicated issue that most people realize. There are true and tangible pros to using hallucinogens. But there are also drawbacks and potential pitfalls, especially for those who are fragile mentally or emotionally. For those who believe they have a good grasp on reality, I think it's extremely healthy to venture into other portions of our consciousness.

Normally, ignorance creates fear. One that drinks, thinks it's no big deal because they know the effects. Those that never took psychedelics fear the unknown and believe it's some terrifying drug. Basically they believe the hype.

They accept the hype, because they fear actually experiencing life (learning).

(Fox News or MSNBC devotees are great examples of this head in the sand approach to life.).

But people do opiates and some are very quite "legal". Anyone take codeine? How about morphine? The reason why is the government can tax it. This is the very same reason why pot ain't legal in most parts of the world.

In fact opiates cause major liver issues with over use. I haven't seen a physical health problem with LSD. None...

I do agree that idiots can use it and fuck up their day. But doesn't anything?

Alcohol, maxiep's drug of choice, kills 3.3 million people a year just from consumption. Considering that only 38% of the world drinks alcohol the number would be around 8 million a year if we all drank it.

Then add accidental falls, suicides, and car accident victims of drunk drivers.

Then take your hypocrisy about illegal drugs and shove it up your ass.

You missed my point with me bringing up heroin, I could have said meth or caffeine. My point is just that people can have opinions on meth (or anything) without having done it. Googling and reading up on it is a good place to start. The problem comes in where people only read the portions that affirm their current view. So reading propaganda site material is not the best information.

As far as what side effects exist, I have had a few minor ones myself, like tripping for over a day once, and having very mild flashbacks ever now and then for a couple years after I stopped. But my brother had a friend who committed suicide while on LSD although she had tried once before, so I don't blame the acid. Also, I have read conflicting info regarding the increased progression of schizophrenia, but that could be a big issue if it runs in your family.

Missing the point is deliberate, apparently. The assumptions being made about who has or hasn't done LSD is humorous at best. And the attack on your brilliant and true post is amusing.

I haven't once said it should be outlawed. I question if repeated use is harmful. It certainly might be seen as reckless behavior - like would you expect to get hired if you say you dropped LSD two days ago in the job interview? Or if you told your employer you needed a day or two to recover from a trip?

Smh.

Man you know, after overcoming several drugs of choice, it doesn't take a full blown genius to know you don't need another to battle.
The message is clear, once you can see it, no one needs some shit to fuck yourself up, the trick is to learn the lesson, the sooner the better.

sobriety is an escape mechanism for people who cant handle reality on drugs

If I were stoned, I might perceive you as a fence-sitter or tightrope walker, spitting down only on my side while claiming to be neutral, quoting right-wing websites while excusing them because they have a .gov suffix. I'd see an emperor with no clothes, fooling no one.

You are talking to LSD experts and telling us we're wrong by quoting government propaganda written by LSD virgins like yourself. Instead of trying to command the ship with no sailing experience, begin your know-it-all career at the bottom of the mast, not the top.

See how I use symbolism, allegory, and word pictures? Practice your poetry if you want to be a fake LSD expert.

Imagine. The U.S. spends the big bucks and builds a spacecraft to land on Mars. Wow, it will be so far out to look out your window (the genius Aldous Huxley called it the Doors of Perception) and look at Mars!!

But wait, 1% of the population is crazy and will freak out when they land on Mars. That would be bad.

Sorry. Anyone who takes off for Mars will be imprisoned. No scientist will be allowed to research the subject. If we are to stay in power, we mustn't let the cat out of the bag. We gotta keep these retards not in power, retards.

Sounds like you found a task Obama can handle and you are here to make it easy.

So Magnifier, how was this trip only 5 hours. Or are you putting us on.

Mags lives in SoCal doesn't he? He probably dropped some Dramamine that somebody sold him as acid.

Everything down there is a "Lite" version of what we have, or a total fake.

Magnifier knows all the modern drugs I don't. Good guy. But he's stuck drinking Southern California tap water. Remember how it tastes, Maris? It'll make your tongue die young. Northwestern water actually tastes cold and good. Down there they keep water in the ice box to make it cold! Ha ha! Actually I did it too. We did that in Hawaii too.

Hey Mags, did your 5-hour trip come from drinking a glass of that fine water down there? I worked in a Los Angeles water bottling factory, summer of '70. It came out of a rusty tap. Labeled Artesian Springs or something. Learned life lessons from black guys who stooped as they walked. Smiled as they walked and looked at me. Couldn't stand up straight. After a week my back was hurting too so I quit. Worked in Watts in '89. Desk job by then.

Hey I thought we were talkin' bout a revolution! Man California sucks. Everyone's mellow in the Northwest. Except Marzul.

I'm stunned by how foolish your post is.

Unless you've done clinical trials, are a trained doctor working in the field, have observed more than a handful of people doing the drug on a a recurring basis, you are no expert.

You are the cigarette smoker who tells us you didn't get cancer so the stuff from "right wing" sites like the CDC are BS.

You also forget that I am a child of the 60s and 70s. You have no idea if I have done LSD or not. (I have).

I turn 40 this month and this thread got me thinking back to when I last tripped, it was over 15 years ago. And although I don't do it anymore I do look back on those days with great affection. Some of the best lessons of my life were elucidated on mushrooms and LSD. Halcyon moments followed by intense introspection followed by simply awe inspiring visualizations were on the norm while tripping, along with bonding sessions that still tie together some of my friendships. And sex on LSD, out of this world! Never knowing where your body ends and your lovers begins.

These experiences I especially recommend to people in their late teens, early twenties. But do it with good trustworthy friends and hot ass lovers. And do it with a plan regarding the ongoing usage of hallucinogens. I personally believe there are boundaries you also don't want to cross, ones that may be to hard to return from. Most of those boundaries come with very high doses or overuse. But this is different for everyone, what is overuse for me may be different for Fez or for Mags.

Funny that you say this. I used to do 10 strips and eat an 1/8th of shrooms going all out in my late teens and early 20s. Then I had a seriously bad trip at like 25 and stopped using for a long while. Maybe I waited about 10 more years before I tripped again. About 1.5 year ago, I had a pretty intense trip that had me seriously doubt my insanity. At that time, I was tripping every other week 3-5 hits at a time. Now I wait like 3 months and just do 1 hit. Usually meditate and try and get into my inner self. I don't require large doses anymore and it's quite beautiful.

Anybody else have a boner?
