We arent geting wallace, we arent getting butler..... jefferson is our best shot. Carter is too old. We just simply cant keep starting batum if we wanna make the playoffs. Utah, Houston, and Suns are gonna mke furious pushes torwards the playoffs while we are trotting out a guy who averages 4 points a night and cant hit open shots.

Jefferson deal solves our problem. We can also get a real backup PG in ridnour which solves that problem.


THEN TEAMS WONT WRITE THE WORDS "MAKE BATUM SHOOT" IN THE LOCKER ROOM ANYMORE WHEN THEY PLAY PORTLAND

Batum and Sergio starting is just a bad joke.

Mixum- Bowen never scored much when the Spurs won titles. We don't need all 5 starters to be super scorers. And Batum is not a horrible three point shooter. He had a game this season where he made 4 of 5. He's a good complimentary player to our starters, I think. What we have now IS working. We are in 4th place in the conference.

I'd rather a deal where we get Jefferson, but Ridnour goes to Chicago along with Frye or Diogu so we can get Hinrich too. Could be a win-win-win for everybody.

I thought mixum said we were getting Butler all along, he was our guy and he predicted it like a month ago.
 
I know patience is in short supply on this board, but given the unique value of RLEC--meaning that there isn't a team out there who couldn't use it--my guess is that we'll be doing a deal closer to the trade deadline. Multiple sources have said there are a couple of deals out there KP just has to say "yes" to. It makes no sense to cut the bidding short if better offers may come Thursday morning.

Yeah patience is certainly running thin. I think this board has exhausted every possible deal for Vince, Jefferson, Caron and Wallace that there is. I want to get this deal done.
 
well maxie.... that makes sense BUT you can cross off the wiz and bobcats which mean no butler or wallace. That leaves us with Jefferson OR Cartrer (if the rockets dont get him) so its really at the point hwere our only option is jefferson, carter or MAYBE salmons.

how things have changed from a morning ago
 
bowenm actually makes threes...batum cant. ALSO WHEN THE HELL DID BATUM BECOME BOWEN???? HEs not even close. We arent the spurs kingspeed.
 
Why do you guys think Milwaukee is trading RJ in their first season? RJ is nothing without a pg like Jason Kidd.All he's going to do is take jumpers and just a heads up from a Nets fan he BALLHOGS.

You have no idea who we can and cannot cross off. If you believe everything you read, then why isn't Mark Iavaroni our head coach?

As far as I'm concerned everyone mentioned in trade talks is still available. It's the trade deadline tomorrow, we have the most valuable asset at the deadline, a boatload of young players, and plenty of teams looking to dump salary. Listening to trade rumors allows us to see who is available, but not necessarily determine who is an untouchable asset on another team.

Just have to wait it out another 25.5 hours.

i know this is tough people, but don't feed into whatever sick game mixum is playing. all he craves is your attention, just say no to mixum.
 
options are fading with the spurs making a push for jefferson. we could be left with carter or salmons.

and with mcgrady out...you know the rockets will make a furious push now. I mean i just dont know that any of these teams could justify taking any deal but ours considering tehy get youth and an amazing contract. maybe KP just is hated among his peers
