From the stats I can access online and the times I've watched him play, I'm not a big Jefferson fan. But the fact that he's still capable of big games and the further fact that Pritchard is certainly evaluating players with his own systems and metrics, which are assuredly more sophisticated than the ones that are publicly available, would still leave me enthused to get him.
As things stand, I don't think Jefferson would be a big upgrade. But if Pritchard acquires him, thereby implicitly saying that Jefferson grades out well by his analysis, then that would be new information and would change things. Of course, I'd be most excited by a player who grades out well according to what I can see as well as Pritchard's analysis, but I'll trust his analysis over mine. He's got a lot more resources and spends a whole lot more time on this than I do.
