@johnhollinger: One more: Last night Jeffries, Claver, and Pavlovic combined for zero points and zero rebounds in 26 minutes.
I am not being negative in any way when I say this, but I think our bench might statistically be the worst in the history of the league
The Bulls let Omer Asik walk for nothing.
He's been replaced by Nazr Mohammed. Nazr has scored one field goal this season so far. One field goal.

Freeland is at best your 3rd string C. Mohammed is #2 on the Bulls depth chart at C. Though I think they're playing no C a lot because Nazr basically is long past his prime.
Asik has a $15M paycheck for year 3 of his contract. The Bulls may actually pay the LT this season for the first time since Jordan retired (the first time). Taj's contract doesn't affect any year's payroll by as much as Asik's. Otherwise, Asik is a bargain at $5M/year for the first two.
I'm not so sure we need a microwave type. The Jordan Bulls never had someone like that, they just had people who came in and knew their roles. We do need someone who can hit a three, though. Price has hit a couple, but I never have faith that they'll go. I guess Pavlovic is that guy, and his defense hasn't been horrible, but he's just so bleh. And of course that's ALL that Babbitt can do. I just hope Claver can pull it together, because he can hit threes and he fits fairly seemlessly into the game. But ideally we need another guard. Barton is too wild and plays with blinders on at the moment.

The Bulls had Kukoc and a slew of 3pt specialists.
I think we have plenty of guys who can hit a wide open 3pt shot. As you mentioned Pav, Babbitt, and Price all can do that. What I meant to say is someone who can create his own shot. That is what the bench lacks. And I would prefer it be a SG
Bobby Hansen.Scott Williams and Stacey King were there...BJ Armstrong....I'm missing out on the white guy that hit the WTF?3...
Bobby Hansen.
