A Kansas man is accused of shooting and killing an Indian immigrant engineer he thought was Middle Eastern and wounding two others after shouting "get out of my country" and opening fire.

Adam Purinton was arrested after fleeing Austin's Bar and Grill, a suburban Kansas City restaurant that was packed Wednesday night when he allegedly blasted off several rounds at 7:15 p.m.

Cops arrested the 51-year-old at an Applebee's hours later in Clinton, Mo., some 80 miles away after they were able to negotiate with him over the phone early Thursday morning.

If this had been a person of middle eastern descent who yelled, "Allahu Akbar" and then shot 3 white people this would be called a terrorist attack.

Well, if you sort by "best" comments, you'll see the majority of the people their denouncing the racist piece of shit for murdering these people. So, with that said, re-read post #4.

I'd expect the vast majority of Trump supporters to be disgusted by this, but I'd also expect them to be in denial about the cause and effect of Trump's anti-immigrant rhetoric. Trump is activating these shitstains everytime opens his mouth.

There were racists before Trump, and there will be racists after Trump.

His anti-immigration rhetoric is nothing more than upholding CURRENT laws. Not sure why people fail to understand that. You're believing exactly what you're being fed.

People coming into this country, illegally are criminals, plain and simple. There is no other way to look at it. They are violating the law. Now onto the 7-country order, those countries cannot properly vet the people that come into their country so they were put onto a 'list of concern' by Obamas people and Trump took that list and said he does not want those people to come into the US because we cannot vet them properly. Again plain and simple. Lastly, the refugee program was stopped because all of Obamas intelligence heads indicated that ISIS is likely to infiltrate the refugee program and come into the US. Trump agreed and is putting a stop to this.

Trump is doing nothing more than protecting this country from people that want to do us harm. He has repeatedly said that people can come here LEGALLY. There is no anti-immigration rhetoric. This is all made up by the media, and open-border globalists.

I wouldn't go so far as to draw a straight line between Trump's anti-immigrant rhetoric and this specific killing; maybe this guy was primed to kill no matter what? But history is rife with political figures inflaming passions and fears into violence, which is why Trump's rhetoric is concerning. We already live in a world where it feels like the center may not hold, the last thing you want in that kind of environment is somebody in a leadership position lobbing verbal "Molotov cocktails."
