Let’s say I know a lot about the black community; let’s say I took the time to study that community specifically and I know those issues really well. Should I suddenly start speaking on issues I don’t know really well? Or… should I stick to what I know?
Also, social justice and equality in the United States is what LeBron James is working on. Being in the news to help issues local to him is a good thing. Why the hell do you want LeBron talking about Chinese politics?
Social justice and equality outside the United States is called empire building. It’s where we drone strike and “rebuild” communities. I would say that’s much worse than slave labor since we murder civilians. Like when we drone strike an area, wait for emergency services, then strike again.
You know those little aboriginal tribes that eat people and shit? Maybe Kanter should speak out on them too so the American government can go wipe them out because they aren’t being “just and equal”.
Really weird how Americans are obsessed with politics in other countries; look in the mirror and fix your own hair before fixing everyone else’s around you.
Kanter is a complete tool. Focus on the issue at hand, not on the actions of another man. Fan girl behavior.
those tribes hold a large market in the world trade do they?????They are suppressing how many of their workers??
numbers matter.
So Black lives matter but only in the united states huh?
How did slavery and racism come to this country? It was brought here from other parts of the world. As free and racially/culturally diverse as this country is, we arent ever solving issuss here without the globe solving its issues universally.
But with all piles of issues, you start with the biggest, most impactfull one first and widdlw the pile down.
whats a bigger drag on the future world progress? China slave labor or tribal cannibalism??
sorry people have to start somewhere…
but hey. Because he isnt able to target everyone at once he should just shut his trap right?
ill add when the united states businesses are supporting a country by using their slave labor to produce goods sold in this country, the people of this country have a responsibility.
kanter isn't railing on those countries. He is railing on American shoe companies taking advantage of thosw countries slave labor. Thats an issue here in the united states.
should we then use your analogy for state to state?
Human are humans and those being oppressed and used as slaves deserve a voice, no matter where it comes from.
What is glaring to me is how many people are focused on trying to poke holes in Kanters stance instead of joining him and speaking out against the oppressions he is addressing…
Very telling indeed…
