Oh, I sort of remember a little joke about Mycology, aim at our local representative getting edited into something mindless.
Perhaps it was a poor try, but I would normally think a logical mind would infer a connection of a shitty outlook and raising
mushrooms. You know, keep them in the dark and feed um shit. But perhaps this is too much.

Aside from the fact that most mushrooms form mycorrhizal relationships with trees, and other larger plant species, for sustenance rather than breaking down detritus, I thought it was a cheap shot on my character rather than a well thought out argument over my valid opinions on current events.

You are not the only one allowed to have opinions.

Ps. Your mycology joke would work better if you compared it to those taking advantage of welfare or other similar government programs. For future reference.

So. Bulger had a decades-long "career" of murder, extortion, and other crimes. He ratted out his associates. He has spent 5 years in prison; if he had beans to spill he would have probably done so by now; he was not exactly reticent. It was in college, yes. I have a degree in Fine Arts and a degree in Botany with an emphasis on Mycology. After spending time working with botany projects and wildlife projects, I now learn towards the wildlife side of things.

Nobody should ever be allowed to personally attack a posters family member. That is one thing that should be an automatic suspension.

Maybe if you guys did a few more suspensions for serious violations you would have less issues. Editing a post by deleting the offended name and inserting slypokerdog in instead is extremely weak as you are still allowing the attack. It should be deleted completely. Maybe it is time for me to look elsewhere as well as it gets tiresome.

I edited the post.

People are free to insult me or my mother. She's a nice lady but if someone really needs to insult a mother I guess I'll volunteer mine.

If the OT section of a basketball forum isn't meeting your political discussion needs then please, by all means, find an other place that does. May I suggest Reddit. Lot's of different political sub forums where it should be easy to find one to your liking.
