I'd be down. Its kind of more exciting to think of bringing in a new player but we can have the most talent by staying over the cap. With the rising cap it's an ideal time to lock in contracts. The Blazers crappy finish to the season could be a blessing in disguise; if we made the conference finals and lost we might have to spend $14million each to bring back Wes/Rolo and $10 million for AAA. Now it'll be easy to retain everyone at a good buy low time and avoid major concerns of luxury tax. With our players having familiarity to our system and teammates I think they nearly all have more value to us than to other teams. AAA is really the only odd man out if we resign Wes and don't trade Nic. I'd like to bring him back but only if the deal is right and he might get more from New York. It would be awesome to have him and CJ and Meyers as our three main players off the bench though. Meyers at the 4/5, AAA at the 2/3 and CJ at the 1/2. Not to mention there will always be a few injuries at the least and hopefully not but possibly a stretch of many injuries. But regardless of AAA the rest of our roster has a great mix of upside and veterans; its best in PDX.
