Absolutely, resign him next year. His value is low, and his potential his high now that Nate is gone.

Watch the post game interview from Tonight with MH and you just might agree.

Yeah.... I agree..... we need quitters on our team who sand bag when they don't like how things are going.

Fuck no. The guy is toxic. Stay the fuck away.

This recent surge is just some contract year BS. If we re-sign him (even for the minimum), I'm picketing against the Blazer FO.

FUCK no. He's improved to adequate. Except that he was outplayed by CHARLES JENKINS tonight.

That said, if it was a choice between keeping Felton and keeping Crawford, I'd go for Felton.

I wish he could be persuaded that the Heat need him if only he would agree to a buyout RIGHT NOW. (Or is it too late to make playoff rosters if you sign with a team now?)

Something tells me Hailblazers that you are easily distracted by bright shiny objects and have lost thousands playing three card Monty with street hustlers ... am I right or am I right?

The only way I can POSSIBLY IMAGINE re-signing Felton is if some poor sap team wanted him in a sign-and-trade for someone actually good.

The guy tanked it until the coach got fired, and suddenly, he's playing hard again? This is the kind of guy we want to stay away from. I absolutely hate that we didn't buy him out yet. I don't want his attitude rubbing off on guys like Nic/Wes/Nolan.

The best part is that he was a primary reason why we sucked bad enough to blow it up, and now he's playing well enough to fuck up our tanking.... this guy is a real prize.

Yeah... don't be fooled by how garbage he was for the first 35 games of the season. I do not want him being our PGofF.

The entire team is responsible for Nate being fired

One player doesn't make you lose by 42

Aldridge/Nic/Wes played their part in it.

Don't miss Talking Ball tonight, they just said it's Raymond Felton Appreciation night. You guys don't wanna miss it!

LaMarcus Aldridge said:
on the resurgence of Felton..."We never lost confidence in him, and he never lost confidence in himself"

I'll take LMA's opinion thank you.

I don't care how bad a coach is, if a player misses wide open shots game after game, its his fault and no one elses. Now all of a sudden he can shoot?

Felton was horrible this season, and even as well as he played tonight, I still don't like his game.
He is a back up point guard who thinks he is a starter. I don't think he is a leader.

I'd rather try to keep Felton at $5-6 million a year then to overpay for some of the "potential" point guards this summer.

If you can't sign Deron, or trade for someone like Rondo, resigning Felton to a modest deal isnt a bad idea. Then you can focus on the other positions

You would pay Felton more rhan you'd be willing to offer Goran Dragic? ... hmmmm ... I'm at a loss for words.

^this.

Dre hated Nate's coaching style too. So he confronted him about it and cleared the air, and both of them became better as a result. Felton tanked it under Nate and cost the team wins in the process, while getting the coach fired. I can't believe some of you want to keep him. He's the biggest POS we've had on this team since DMiles.

Felton who isn't as good and definitely sandbagged his first 30 odd games ... I don't get your thinking.

I'm sure Felton was sandbagging from the very start of his contract year

Good lord...............

Can someone please put together a picture of a tank with Felton's face on it for me? He'll be back to normal soon enough. And I agree we should send his cancerous ass packing.

I admit, I've been fooled a few times this year into think Felton just might turn it around and show himself worthy of a new contact, but he always goes out and shows me who Failton really is. I'd only sign Felton to a 1-2 year deal for a very low amount if it were like plan G at PG.

I've also considered this because I can't think of any other reason he is still on our roster. But why would Felton cooperate? Nobody is going to be offering him very much so Bird rights won't come into play. Have they made some kind of deal with him; that they will showcase him if he later agrees to sign and trade? They seem to have made some kind of agreement with Crawford; he said something around the trade deadline that the team told him they were trying to trade him because they were afraid to lose him for nothing if he didn't exercise his option. But he said then they talked it out and apparently as a result of that decided to keep him... Did he promise not to exercise it or to cooperate in a sign-and trade?

Does PGOTF mean many years into the future, or just next season? In this league, you should never try to visualize more than 1 year into the future. I always expect major roster turnover.

Maybe the offers he gets will be low. If his cost is flexible, I can take him being here next season, maybe even as a substitute. Then we could get something for him in a midseason trade.

The new Coach might even make us change our minds about him. The Coach might improve his pass decisions, and eliminate the emergency shots he takes at the end of the clock because of McMillan's awful offense system.

Obviously, no player "sandbags." They may be lazy at conditioning like Thabeet, but they are still playing in games as hard as they can.
