Toronto is thriving with their all 6'9 frontcourt rotation. I don't think they'll move Siakam.

If there was a way to get Grant and Siakam without giving up Ant, I wouldn't give a flying **** how Grant felt about it.
Why is it that you say that? He took the most money possible and yes was excited to be the first option but if he was talking to Dame about teaming up he knows he wouldn't be the first option anymore and the fact is if he believes in himself he'll have the confidence to come in here and try to earn touches that would otherwise go to Ant, Siakam and Nurk before him and I don't think as it stands that Nurk would get touches before him. The dude can both get to the hoop really well and finish by cutting without the ball and putting the ball on the floor as well and he can hit open spot up threes. He's also a really good defender. I don't think he'd have a problem at all if he was starting on a championship team and we paid him.
now that observation says "hey, I'm really old"
bey has been balling. 51 tonight.
i keep telling you guys. draft villanova kids. Jay Wright is a monster.
who's the best player on Nova this year?
Bey is rough, because we could have him over Covington. Hindsight...2020 draft:
12 - SAC Tyrese Haliburton
15 - ORL Cole Anthony
16 - POR (Hou) Isaiah Stewart
19 - BRK Saddiq Bey
21 - PHI Tyrese Maxey
25 - OKC Immanuel Quickley
30 - BOS Desmond Bane
that 2020 draft should be a cautionary tale for Cronin about the value of draft picks, even if they aren't top-10

The Bane pick pisses me off the most. It was basically the team ducking the tax by moving Hezonjia to Memphis to take pick 30, instead of us getting Kanter and 30 for ourselves. Yeah, there were 2nds involved, whatever. Boston wanted to move 30 to dump Kanter, and we were too cheap to do it ourselves.
Re: Sochan.
I'm wary of drafting guys who don't start on their college teams in the lottery.
Zach Collins memories still fresh on my mind.
Ya I know Nas didn't start at UNC either, but he dropped to #25 for a reason.
i still have to do more research on him, but he's got some holes in his game (30% from 3 on decent volume, only 57% from FT).Agreed, but he played the 2nd most minutes on the team. He is so versatile, they just put him where ever he is needed.

i'm not gambling on him in the lottery based on what i've learned so far.
I personally like Eason as a similar, but better player. Eason has more of the Kawhi/Buttler bully ball mindset.... which I like.Everyone has some holes in their games. He is listed as a late Lottery, mid 1st projected pic. It's not like he is going in the Top 10. Some good, and some bad, but he has the size, athletic ability, and versatility that makes him intriguing to some.

Doesn't hurt that he's from Seattle (and played for Brandon Roy at Garfield).
If you want a roster like the raptors, Sochan is the guy.i still have to do more research on him, but he's got some holes in his game (30% from 3 on decent volume, only 57% from FT).

His motor is worth exploring. He averages 15 rebs a game. I would try to buy into the late first round if he's still on the board.Honorable Mention: Oscar Tshiebwe - He is likely a later 1st round pick, but he does what he does, very well. 30 points (11-16 sh0oting), 16 rebounds. 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks. 6'9", 250+ lbs with a 7'4" wingspan.
He's Paul Millsap reborn. His motor is worth exploring. He averages 15 rebs a game. I would try to buy into the late first round if he's still on the board.
and similarly an upper classmen at draft time. He's Paul Millsap reborn.
any drives to the rim from Smith are major signs of development for me. dude is a legit handle away from being an All NBA caliber prospect who could reach that in a few years.Meh..... just looked like a run of the mill facial to me.
