Kenyon Martin?

Man, if anything you do gotta love how LaMarcus, Marcus and Wesley are just constantly trying to recruit people via twitter and getting the fans involved. That's a pretty smart move for the new-age social media we live in.

And it works too! Even Crawford said the Portland fans posting on his twitter really helped him decide. I love it.

Why do they spell it "bra" instead of bro. A Bra is what women wear to keep their tits in place.

Martin's Chineese team didn't want him because they were not happy with his play. Is he done, or just half-assing it because he didn't want to be in China?

Martin was truly one of the "Thuggets". Do we want an apple like that in Portland? How much of an upgrade is he over Thomas/Smith?

It's not whether he's better than Thomas/Smith.... It's whether or not he's more valuable than Johnson. And that answer is YES!

I have NEVER liked the guy, but I would like the addition. He gives us another defender and another vet that gives us toughness. Martin is exactly the kind of guy you want on your team in the playoffs. If we add him I'll really like the toughness of this team. We were soft as charmin a few years back, but now we could pretty much bully just about any team in the league.

If we get him, I wonder if we'd be the oldest average team in the league. We have sure changed our roster a lot over the last 3 years! Just look at it, the only guy that is the same from our "KP Cake Bake would-be Dynasty" is LaMarcus Aldridge!

I think it's a good thing. With the exception of Thomas and Camby; all the other players are closer to the late 20's early 30's. Nothing wrong with that IMO, if you want to win now.

He's alright, although a little injury prone.

For the minimum I wouldn't mind I guess.

just saw on twitter that Lamarcus retweeted TJ Ford saying that the twitter handle of kenyon martin was a fake ID and that no one should follow him or talk to him..... sooo don't know what that means for getting him.

Well thank god LMA didn't send this poser his private phone number.

DOH!

huevon is hedging his bets like a fucking sissy.

love or hate dude, no in betweens. dont even bother posting this "i think what both of you are saying is perfectly acceptable" horseshit.

I don't know for sure which team is the oldest, but the Lakers have 8 guys on their active roster, and 7 in their top 10, 31 years old and older. Most of those guys will be between 32 and 37 by the time the playoffs are here - assuming the Lakers actually make the playoffs. McRoberts has been getting the most minutes of any player under 31 on their roster so far, but his minutes will likely decrease now that Bynum, their only other significant young player, is back from his suspension.

"@aldridge_12 I just sent my info to ur dm fam hit my jack "

Wow, I must really be behind the times, I took that to mean:

I just sent me cell phone number to your whole damn family. Please give me a call and bring a jack to help me change this flat tire.

Still hoping this could be a possibility. I know it was a false convo; but the idea of a K-mart is JUST SMART! He is a energy guy, banger and tough guy. He maybe a "Thug"; but not one that has off court antics. I think we need more interior post scoring. Something that needs to be spread out between Aldridge and another player. Watching Craig Smith play the post for a couple games made me realize just how important it truly is.

Maybe him and Oden can compare their MF surgery scars LOL

I'd love this move, I really think this team is one good post player away from truly contending for a title. Could PA be persuaded into spending deeper into the Luxury tax to acquire one more piece?

Well if we go with what he said publicly, than that's a "No". He said he doesn't plan on spending any money in Luxury tax in the future. I think if we contend, he may. The possibility to win a ring is everything to him.

Craig Smith has been efficient in the paint when we've played him. Kurt Thomas is hitting an insane percentage, I believe, with his midrange J. Unless people get hurt, I think we're fine with who we have.

We could use another center, but not K-Mart. I don't see him adding anything to this team.
