Plan B Terrence Ross?? Thoughts? I don't think there's any question that both Olshey & Allen want a fast rebuild.

Just trying to up your post count dude?

There is a better chance of the Blazers being moved to Seattle than KD signing here.

I could see Durant being the #1 option for the Blazers long term plans but that does not mean that he will come here. So you have to have a plan B: That could be Terrence Ross.

This is much less far-fetched now. If OKC keeps Kanter, they can't afford Durant next summer. If they let us have Kanter, they reinforce Bennett's cheapskate reputation. That will make Durant leave anyway. He'll notice we're big spenders, and he likes playing with Kanter, his first true NBA center, so he'll come here, to compensate us for not drafting him.

i think it was a possibility if everyone stayed this offseason, we would have had an enticing "big 2".

now? no chance, unless lillard goes HAM and wins MVP or something.

KD's really going to help us! Teams will scramble to clear cap for him, and we'll be waiting with open arms.

If they go after and land him all will be forgiven. I think they better at least try. They need to replace the production that is lost with LA's departure

You can have Ross or DeRozan, we'll bring KD home.

Why would KD go to Toronto?

If he leaves I only see him going to DC. I remember an interview I saw of him he was asked how he felt about DC and he went on and on raving about how much he loved it, then they asked but what about OKC and he was like oh yeah I like it there a lot. *super monotone/unenthusiastic*

Well he really liked his time in Seattle. Somehow convince him he should play for the Seahawks owner who lives in Seattle.

I think we dig up Eleanor Rosevelt and teach her to dunk.

KD and ER are equally likely

Speaking of, you got any idea what it would probably take for Toronto to trade Derozan?

DeRozan's camp is looking for the mid-max next summer so if Ujiri isn't willing to give him whatever that is, like 5/100, he'll be traded this year before the deadline. It'll have to be to a team willing to give him that money which I think rules out 2/3rds of the league.

I'm inclined to believe he will give DeRozan a big deal if he's willing to spend $15-million per on Carroll but if negotiations with him go sideways the Raps won't get a good trade for him as he'll be picking the team he goes to (from the group willing to pay him).

I see this as the only scenario in which DeRozan gets dealt. 25-year old All-Stars don't get traded for prospects unless they handcuff their team.

As for Ross word is Ujiri is looking to sign both him and JoVa to extensions this summer rather than let them test the market next year. If that's the case Ross is going to get overpaid.

Why Not...I mean we almost drafted him
