Key To This Series.......

There are adjustments to be made. I used Kaman as one example. Why did you not quote that portion? :p

The key is having a 3rd shooter on the floor. Was it not obvious going into the series that LAC would focus on our guards? There has to be another threat out there at all times. CJ and Dame should play a minimum of 42 min/game and Crabbe, Gerald, or Roberts should always be on the floor with them. We can't get a rebound with our "big" lineup, so we might as well play to our strengths.

We can definitely get a rebound with our "big" lineup. In fact, the game we won in Portland (in which Griffin played) we handily outrebounded them with a lineup featuring both Davis and Plumlee. In fact, in all 4 games against the Clippers the one constant was that we outrebounded them. That's our advantage yet we got handily outrebounded last night going small.

Step 1. Select 3 from Davis/Plumlee/Aminu/Harkless to be our back-up bigs. Trade the 4th for a 2nd round pick.

Step 2. Bring in 3 new big men to be the starters.

Step 3. Provide Kaman/Leonard/Vonleh with "Will be tall for food" signs and kick their asses to the curb.

Step 4. Offer Dame and CJ profound apologies and beg them to give Olshey another chance.

Was joking around today, but maybe there's something to it....... What if we started Kaman at center? You know how he is the master of the pump fakes and up and unders. Well DeAndre Jordan is know to try and block every shot in sight. Guys like that fall for the pump fake every time. Maybe start Kaman and see if we can pick up some early fouls on DJ?

It might be interesting to play Kaman the first five minutes when DJ is on the floor (starting and every time he comes in). Kaman's pump fakes are good and the mid-range shot may pull out DJ a bit. Then switch in Mason. I can't see Kaman playing more than 15-20 minutes total.

I'll grant you that point if and when we out-rebound them this series. Otherwise, I don't put much weight on what happened in the regular season.

At some point in the game the Clippers will turn up the pressure and double our PG. I wonder if they wait until either CJ or Dame are out of the game. I think we need two PG's in at all times. Roberts might get important minutes.
...Or from the opening tip.......

This is almost beginning to feel like a forum brought to you by Nike!
I thought Nikes was the Swoosh, is it swish?

Try saying that 10 times fast! Swoosh swish, Swoosh swish, Swoosh swish, Swoosh swish, Swoosh swish....

I enjoy a hot cup of Earl Grey during the winter months.
I didn't get into Earl Grey tea until recently. I still don't really buy it, but after getting my grandmother some Earl Grey from the tea store at the mall for christmas, and trying it, I could definitely get into drinking tea.

Tea > Coffee

That's how it happened for me. My grandmother is from the deep south and she raised me on fried chicken, pecan pie, and sweet tea (Earl Grey was her preference).

Thanks Dog! I've been lurking for a while. Everyone seems really informed and very active here... I might just pop in from time to time. Cool group of people!

Not all of us! Take your ass back to the clipper forum! :devilwink:

I have no way to do that. All I can do is try to get together some swag at the end of the season from the Blazers to send to you. It wouldn't be fair to the rest of the forum but maybe it will settle this.

No. What will settle this is not to allow public bets in the forum. Do that shit in private messages or not at all. Saves us ALL the headache of the bickering that happens because of it.

I bet you $100 that they'll be another public bet.

Did I miss something? I have had two public forum bets. One I won and one I lost. Neither wager seemed to have any bickering or complaining and most are probably not even aware.

Is this all about HCP not paying Eric? IF so, don't punish us all just because one person is failing to own up to their word. :)

I personally like to know about the wagers and who is betting who what.

I actually think the key to this series is Harkless being productive. I think Stotts thinks so too as there was an effort early to get him involved until fouls got in the way.

Same!

Yup. But part of that is playing him at SF and Aminu at PF. No way should Harkless be guarding Blake - should be Aminu.

Nobody's saying you can't bet. I'm just saying do it via private message.
