oh god...do you even watch hockey? colorado and detroit were both first round chumps this year...so thats that. jersey were a surprise team, pretty much NOONE had them as the champs.

easy to say you picked the bucs now...what made you pick them? the fact that they choke every year in the cold? or chuckys never winning it before? gimme a break, as if the bucs were clear cut champs

jersey won 2 cups before this season, and had an awesome reg season record, but they were overlooked by almost every hockey analyst in the country (canada at least) brody is a sick goalie, and they got talent, but the east was wide open, and most peoples had wings taking the cup

by the way, i watch NUFF sports, so dont try and judge me, because when you assume it makes an ass out of you and me, but mostly you in this case...lol

I picked the spurs to win the title this year too. i didnt assume anything. I whatch a ton of hockey and every major sport. i whathc enough to know that there are certain things that are always a safe bet, like grant hills injurys, joe fortes run ins with the law, and one of the safest bets in the world: the red sox, and new jersey nets, and miami dolphins will not win a championship. theyre all cursed

a. he didnt pick nj because of his wife, i havent heard that anywhere and i seriously doubt he's said that publicly. what he has said is that her tv career woudlnt affect his decision, and it probably played 1% in the equation but no more and its stupid to think so.

b. going to the spurs doenst guarantee 'at least one championship'. first of all duncan could get hurt for the year or the playofffs and hten theyd have no chance. secondly, the nets will be in the finals for the next few years in a row at least, and when u get there u have a chance. if u dont make the finals at all u have no chance to win the title. going to the west theres probably 4 teams that could easily make it in the finals, in the east nj is the clear fav with det 2nd.

c. with alonzo mourning they have the best center in the east, and he will most likely play almost every game this season. even if he doesnt they have collins, mutombo still, and even better nenad krystc comign in anytime they want, who could be best center in the east whenever he arrives. they will also resign martin and jefferson and with zoran plananic there now who can hopefully shoot the ball really good, theyre just getting better and better. san antonio is a one man team where if duncan got hurt, it would be over for them.

d. lets just all thank God that kidd is staying with the nets cause theyre my fav team and the next 6 plus years will be great
