Not to compound Kidd and NJ breaking up, but here's a piece about him complaining about the attenance:

QUOTE

Dave D’Alessandro, recapping the Nets loss, adds another factor beyond jet lag and poor perimeter defense: lagging attendance. He notes Jason Kidd’s post-game comment about the lack of an audience, then lets loose: “Think about it: They’re coming back from a 3-1 road trip, riding high, feeling juiced by the possibilities again … and then fewer than 12 thou show up to watch”. Their attitude: “What’s the use?” Both Lawrence Frank and Richard Jefferson deny that attendance is a factor in the team’s 3-6 record at the IZOD Center

So this team needs fans at the game to get victories now? I know it sucks playing to such small crowds and that there are benefits to having a real nice and loud home field advantage but come on. That's this team being mad that they lost and playing the blame game. The fans have nothing to do with our poor defensive rotations and stupid turnovers. Reaity check time, they get paid millions and millions of dollars to play a game, that whole locker room should shut the F up and play better.
