This really pissed me off when I saw it. I can't believe how much shit he's talking about NJ ever since he left. I've always been a big supporter and IMO he IS the best PG of all time but after this I hope they make the playoffs so we get our 1st rounder and then they get swept. Then everyone on ESPN will be talking shit about how Kidd was a horrible trade and we got the best of it.

He won't go as a Mavrick, even if he wins a championship. He'll be there what, 2-3 years? After his days in NJ and what he's done for his team? They won't vote him in as a Mav, and if they do, I'll be surprised.

I've been to Springfield. Maybe Kidd hasn't. Unlike Cooperstown, you don't go in as anything...other than a Hall of Famer. Ain't no caps in basketball. Petrovic didnt go in as a Net, a Croatian or Yugoslavian Natonal Team Member, a Blazer or a member of club teams he played for in Europe. He went in as a basketball player.
