No because I don't want anyone on the team that doesn't want to be here I don't care how good they are. What did we accomplish exactly with this best PF in the game? One second round appearance? Meh
 
I'll take 10 players that don't want to be here if it equals wins. He leaves so do about 25 wins next season.

Cool then we might actually improve the team. We don't become a contender all of a sudden if aldridge comes back.

It can't be signed until the 9th anyways so Dame can technically do whatever he wants.

I'd rather be in the lottery than get knocked out in the first round every year. I'd also rather root for players that want to be here. I'm a blazer fan, so I have experience with all these things.

Yeah that's totally what I said. With LA were at best back to where we were last year. Good but not good enough. Now if we get Monroe as well..

Yeah I do wonder what the hell he was thinking doing this interview. I could see if it was a concealed cell phone or something but saying this directly into a news camera? Major oversight on his part.

It benefits LA if there are multiple teams interested. Just like when his agent said The Lakers were still an option after the meeting (even though it went terrible). He may want a 2 year deal or something along those lines and needs other teams as leverage. Also Portland may be using his coming back as a selling point to FA.

It would be really ballsy for Hughes to say that if it wasn't true.

Woj gets most of his info from agents and in this case I would bet he is being fed by LA's agent to help LA get what he wants. How do you think Woj gets all the info he does??? Gotta scratch some backs.

I've seen this first hand, not with Woj, but media being fed stories that benefit the person leaking it with a promise for later info.

I'd take a couple 25 win seasons (we aren't bad enough for that even if LA leaves anyway) if it meant a real possibility at a wcf or finals.
 
With no Nic, Wes or LA next season, the opposing teams will be all over Dame..... All night! Gonna be tough to watch.

Hopefully this will be over one way or the other tomorrow cuz I'm now completely over it k thanks goodnight.
 
eh until LA signs with another team offically i'm going to assume were in the hunt to resign him. An assistant coach saying something before FA isn't something i'd put a huge amount of stock in. A lot of things change when teams start tossing offers around. I also just don't see Olshey spreading information around the organization because he has been so careful of leaks in the past.
