(Kinda OT) Chris Dudley getting caught up in this whole Kavanaugh mess

It wasn’t an anonymous letter, it was a sworn statement under penalty of pergury from her ex boyfriend of 6 years.

His name is Brian Merrick...and the "friend" who works/ed for the FBI is vehemently denying she ever received ANY coaching from Mrs. Ford.

WTF does that even mean?

He fucking lied. Why did he lie about when he knew about Ramirez' allegations?

He knew well before the date he testified to.

Why lie about that?

We will see how it turns out. People are making shit up left and right, so I'm not really going to trust anything here.

oh no, college bros got in a bar scuffle. end of the world.
It was more than a scuffle. I've probably been in over a thousand bars and taverns without being in such a 'scuffle' in spite of countless pool games. But then I don't hang with a bunch of guys who are loud, obnoxious drunks with prolific pukers among us.

Believe him about what?

Ford's claims are highly dubious.

Are you talking about other issues now? Yearbooks and Devils Triangles?

The Left's narrative is like an organism that shape shifts.
What about the "highly dubious" polygraph? What about the "highly dubious" 2012 statement to her counselor?

You got me on this one man. No clue what this means.
Was I correct though?
I think he means the 1% of the electorate who are over 82. Of course, that's an educated guess.

Speaking of education, I would suppose that those with an education support her and not him. I wonder why that is.

If this happened to me 36 years ago, I would absolutely forget the little details but the sexual assault itself would be burned into my brain forever.
This is what experts in the field tell us.

Those who are talking out their asses tell a different story.

You decide. I can predict your decision based on your education level.

Good enough to beat Dudley - unless we're talking about a bar fight, then my money's on Duds (he's a big guy, I've met him in person).

I too, have met him. I complimented him on his efforts for diabetics.

>>> I believe you.

>>> I believe you believe this is correct. But you do not know.

>>> I believe you believe this is correct.

I believe you have arrived at this conclusion prematurely. With no collaborating evidence which would support a logical deduction.
I suspect you are a person with a strong F character among your personality traits. Strong enough to not require logic in arriving at a conclusion. Strong feeling will more than likely be the salient force in arriving at a conclusion.

He did lie. He lied about the incident when he exposed himself to ramirez. He lied when he talked about the legal drinking age. He lied when he talked about his level of drinking.

Why?

I too, have met him. I complimented him on his efforts for diabetics.

I complimented him on his milk consumption.

I used to run into Duds late at night at a local Thriftway that was open 24 hours/day. It was during his first season in POR, when he broke his ankle during the third game of the season. He would have a couple small items in his cart, plus six gallons of milk (obviously loading up on the calcium).

I found these two sentences the most hilarious part of Dudley's wikipedia page:

"In 1990, Dudley missed 13 consecutive free throws, setting an NBA record. In 1989, he set the record for most free throws missed in a single trip to the foul line, missing five consecutive free throws after the opposing team committed three lane violations."

The funniest part is those were two separate events (i.e. the 0-5 trip to the line was not part of the 0-13 streak).

I REALLY want to edit that second sentence to read: "In 1989, he set the record for most free throws missed in a single trip to the foul line, missing five consecutive free throws after the opposing team committed three lane violations - they were obviously fucking with him."

He may have been able to hit a guy with a shot glass to save his drunken friend's dignity, but he couldn't hit a free throw to save his life.

He also lied about not have any connections at Yale. His grandfather was a Yale graduate, which made him a legacy student.

What about the "highly dubious" polygraph? What about the "highly dubious" 2012 statement to her counselor?

The polygraph was 2 questions, taken under non-ideal conditions. Supposedly there is an accusation that she coached someone how to beat a lie detector.

Regarding the 2012 statement to her counselor, his name is not in the notes. Kavanaugh's name only came up this year, with all facts considered.

More bullshit as that never happened.

I have questions for you... do you believe people are innocent until proven guilty? Do you believe anyone has ever made false claims of sexual assault? Do you have a son, and how would you feel if he was accused and there was no evidence but you believe you son wouldn’t do that? Should your son be found guilty based only on her word?
This is not a trial, it is a job interview for a lifetime position dictating which laws are Constitutional and which are not. Kind of an important job position to fill. I would think we wouldn't want just anybody in there especially not a loud mouthed obnoxious drunk who pukes a lot among other things.

How about we get the FBI to repeat the test for both Professor Ford and Judge Kavanaugh? Oops, the FBI is conducting the investigation under the direction of the President who doesn't want either Kavanaugh or Ford even interviewed on the matter. In fact, the FBI is not even interviewing any alleged witnesses on the matter except Mr. Judge and 2 or 3 others. Hmm, looks like a loaded proposition.

Somehow, when the democrats were calling for an FBI Investigation, I knew it eventually wouldn't be enough for them.

Did you know then that it would be a sham investigation?

The investigation isn't the sham. Its the Democrats delaying this as far as possible and throwing darts at a dart board, blindfolded.

The investigation is a sham even if you believe the D's are doing what you say.

How so? They insisted they look into nothing. So they are looking and probably won't find anything.

You didn't say a 'real' FBI investigation. This crap they're doing now is totally at the President's direction which is a sham. Can you imagine no interview of either Professor Ford or Judge Kavanaugh? In fact, no interview of much of anyone else.

Now, it's alleged that Kavanaugh has been interfering with potential witnesses to his college shenanigans and not even an investigation of that. I think this proves Trump's objective.

So the FBI is corrupt?

The reason for the investigation was to corroborate Ford's claims by speaking to those she claims were involved or there.

They did, they will likely not find jack shit.

So the FBI is corrupt?
No, the President is. The FBI must follow the President's direction in background investigations. They have freer range in criminal investigations.

So the FBI is corrupt?

No, Donald Trump is corrupt.

In this particular investigation, the FBI has to take orders from Trump. Those orders made it a sham investigation.

Given the time and a more free direction they will confirm what's already known in the press as well as undoubtedly turn up more stench regarding Kavanaugh.

If they gave the FBI until 2020, I'm sure they would find that Kavanaugh was behind the JFK Assassination.

...Ford's lawyers tried to get Grassley to allow the polygraph expert who administered the test to testify before the committee...Grassley refused. derp
