:reading:BLAZERS' GAME NOTES
• Wednesday marks the fourth and final regular season matchup between Portland and Sacramento.

• Damian Lillard scored 41 points on Jan. 7 against the Kings, 26 of which came in the fourth quarter alone. Lillard’s 26 points in the fourth quarter surpassed Terry Porter for the most in any quarter by a single player in franchise history (25, Nov. 14, 1992 at Golden State).

• The Trail Blazers are 2-1 against the Kings so far this season, winning 104-91 on Nov. 8 and 96-85 on Nov. 9 in Sacramento earlier this season. The Kings snapped a three-game win streak for Portland over Sacramento on Jan. 7 with a 123-119 win at home.

• The Trail Blazers outrebounded Sacramento 52-33 on the Nov. 9 matchup and 47-31 on the Nov. 8 matchup. Between the first two games, Portland grabbed 35 more rebounds than the Kings.

• LaMarcus Aldridge and Robin Lopez both recorded double-doubles in the second matchup against the Kings on Nov. 9. Aldridge had 22 points and 14 rebounds while Lopez had 12 points and 10 rebounds.

• Damian Lillard scored a team high 22 points along with grabbing eight rebounds and dishing out seven assists in the first contest against Sacramento on Nov. 8.

• Sacramento forward Travis Outlaw played six-plus seasons with the Trail Blazers after being selected 23rd overall by Portland in the 2003 NBA Draft.

• Thomas Robinson was originally drafted fifth overall by the Kings in the 2012 NBA Draft. Robinson played in 51 games with the Kings his rookie season, averaging 4.8 points and 4.7 rebounds.

• Kings guard Dante Cunningham played collegiate basketball at Oregon State University.

• Sacramento guard Ben McLemore and Trail Blazers forward Thomas Robinson both played college basketball at Kansas.

• HEAD-TO-HEAD HISTORY:
ALL TIME: Trail Blazers lead, 119-78
IN PORTLAND: Trail Blazers lead, 78-18
AT THE KINGS: Kings lead, 57-41

GO BLAZERS!

Two goals for this game:
- Figure out how we stop a great offensive center.
- Try different rotations, give a decent chance to Claver, maybe CJ also

Would love to see our starters only play about 25 min.

Kings got spanked tonight by OKC and most likely won't get to their hotel until 2AM.

I for one would love to see us come out and establish ourselves in the first quarter. We continually spot bad teams leads at home in the first quarter, and give them something to play for. Crush their spirits early.

Hey Darkwebs!

Just want to thank you for doing such a great job on these threads! I dont look at any other preview anymore, just get the facts from these.

He speaks for only himself and not the majority! I still believe The HCP creates the best game threads!

Hoping for a blowout, even if Boogie goes off for the Kings, I think we win this one big..51!

It is sad to see someone struggle with a false sense of worth...j/k

I think TRob will have a huge game against the team that drafted and dumped him tonight.

This is the kind of game we lose. Nothing at stake. They all are thinking about seeing themselves on TV after. Kings hungry to prove themselves against a playoff team so this matters to them. Could be an ugly blowout of the Blazers if they're not really fighting from round one.

Nothing at stake? 4th seed is still possible. And even more possible is dropping to 6th or even 7th if we're not careful.

Lately we've come out just playing. We need to try to develop a killer instinct for the playoffs. We're better than this team on almost every level. We need to crush them, step on their neck and then keep piling on.

Mo is inactive for tonight's game. Crabbe has been put on the active roster.

Amen. I was at the last game against Sacramento when Dame scored 41 but we lost. Gotta bounce back here.

Wow, thanks for the praise, though I'm not sure if I'm worthy of it (as HCP would attest).

Any reason why?

Per ESPN,
Williams is inactive for Wednesday's game against the Kings.

Spin: Williams has dealt with some minor knee issues and this appears to simply be the Blazers giving him a night of rest. Allen Crabbe, a rookie out of California, has been activated in his place.

Travis Outlaw sighting. Forgot he was still in the league.

Didn't know the Blazers had the 5th fewest turnover in the league. Good thing, because on those nights where they are turning it over, it really hurts them.

King, you are going to have to do some heavy lifting tonight! ;)

Milwuakee and Indiana tied with 30 seconds left. I know they sat their starters, but that's still embarrassing.

The Kings are atrocious defensively. Our offense looks good, haha

We already wrapped up a playoff spot... they probably don't care as much. lol.

You expect us to beat the Bucks if we sat our starting 5 for the whole game? I don't. And Indy is going to win now.

Monster dunk by Rolo!
