MB indicated on the BFT that that the magic number for the Blazers is 100. Hold the Kings under that and ring it up as a Blazers win.

I hate KGW games...I am busy from 7-10 tonight and there is no rebroadcast... this will be the first game of the year (including preseason) that I haven't been able to watch or listen to on the radio...grrr...

Help from the Kings site:

PRONUNCIATION GUIDE:
Omri Casspi (OHM-ree CASS-pee)
Assistant Coach Mario Elie (Mare-e-o L-E)
Tyreke Evans (Tie-REEK)
Assistant Coach Jim Eyen (I-N)
Andres Nocioni (an-dreis No-SEE-oni)
Beno Udrih (BAY-no OO-drick)

Easier said than done.

• Sacramento has scored 100 or more
points in 17 of the last 19 games. The
Kings are averaging 105.1 ppg this
season, fifth-best in the NBA. The Kings
are ranked fourth in three-point field
goal percentage.
• Tyreke Evans is averaging 20.0 ppg,
5.0 rpg, and 5.1 apg. Evans is only
one of four players currently averaging
20 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists,
joining Lebron James, Dwyane Wade,
and Joe Johnson. Only three players
in NBA history have ever finished their
rookie season with averages of 20
points, five rebounds, and five assists
-- LeBron James, Michael Jordan, and
Oscar Robertson.
• Rookie Omri Casspi is ranked second
in the NBA in three-point field goal
shooting (.490) and is first among
rookies.

Not sure where to post this, but Devin Harris just about took off Jamario Moon's head when he was going up for a dunk. The Cleveland announcer just compared it to when Pryzbilla fouled Shaq the other night. Not similar fouls whatsoever.

CONNECTIONS: Kings President of Basketball Operations Geoff Petrie was drafted in the first round (eighth overall) by the Trail Blazers in the 1970 NBA Draft. Petrie, the 1970-71 Rookie of the Year and two-time NBA All-Star, played six seasons in Portland before a knee injury ended his career. Prior to coming to Sacramento, Petrie worked in the Blazers’ front office from 1984-85 and served as their general manager for four years.

Kings Vice President of Basketball Operations Wayne Cooper also played (1982-84 and 1989-92) and worked in the front office (1992-93 and 1993-94).

Portland Head Coach Nate McMillan was an assistant coach on current Kings Head Coach Paul Westphal’s staff in Seattle for two seasons before being elevated to interim head coach after 15 games of the 2000-01 season.

On Draft Night, June 25, 2009, Kings guard Sergio Rodriguez and forward Jon Brockman’s draft rights (38th overall) were traded from Portland to Sacramento in exchange for the draft rights of Jeff Pendergraph (31st overall).Rodriguez and Portland’s Rudy Fernandez were teammates representing Spain in the 2005 EuroBasket (finished fourth), 2007 EuroBasket (finished second), and 2006 World Championship (finished first). Rodriguez averaged 3.6 ppg (.391 FG%, .304 3pt%, .759 FT%), 1.3 rpg, and 2.9 apg in 219 games spanning three seasons with the Trail Blazers.

Kings Assistant Coach Jim Eyen served in the same capacity for the Trail Blazers from 1997-98 to 2000-01.

Assistant Coach Mario Elie played one season (1992-93) in Portland, averaging 8.6 ppg in 82 games.

Assistant Coach Shareef Abdur-Rahim played two seasons (2003-04 and 2004-05) with Portland, averaging 14.3 ppg and 6.2 rpg in 86 games.

Kings Spencer Hawes (Seattle), Jon Brockman (Snohomish) and Trail Blazer Martell Webster (Edmonds) were all born in the state of Washington.

Hawes and Webster graduated from the same high school, Seattle Preparatory School.

Brockman and Webster were teammates on the 2004 USA Men’s Youth Development Festival West Team and AAU team.

I just got to the arena and from the player numbers up on the score board it appears blake is starting.

Starting lineup is the same as the last few games. Blake,Roy,pryzbilla, aldridge and Webster

It's quite possible the scoreboard is inaccurate, but I doubt it!

Dre is OFFICIALLY starting. Just got word.

The scoreboard just changed miller is starting.

soooo blake gonna be getting 10-20 minutes today right? bayless supposed to get around 25

anyone got a good link to the game? That RWB Sports link blows and keeps lagging. Thank you in advance!

Beautiful ball movement. *tears*

Let's keep it up.

I'll also take a link if anyone has a Slingbox or even a site link. Can't get many games here either. Well I could, but Comcast Denver doesn't offer NBA League Pass in HD...i know...wtf.

ok, just got the kgw stream up. looks like I missed some offense, but sure enough, I see me some Blake!

OK, just saw that Miller started. I'll check the box scores to see what happened.
