I guess our shot at going perfect in the preseason wasn't important to these guys.

If they aren't willing to win now, what will happen come June??

Fun game..took it to overtime and rested the best players but long overdue Blazer entertainment..get the next one!

And someone stuck an energizer battery up Bellinelis ass

Aminu will save us. Till then, have no more offspring, Aminu.

Can't get too excited about Harkless yet. Don't know if this was just a lucky shooting night. But if he really is good, we could possibly starting him at SF, start Aminu at PF and bring Meyers off the bench.

How much did you have to drink tonight

I really like our second unit coming in and kicking butt

The defense already looks better than last year. And Aminu didn't even play. Not bad.

Leonard should come off the bench because if he starts he will always be in foul trouble imo.

Dame, CJ looked good. Interesting that CJ saw zero min at pg though.

Feel good about our frontcourt. Nice set of skills their with a lot of interchangeable guys and hard not to be tantalized by Vonleh. Great combo of strength and mobility. Love how fundamental and poised he looks out there at 20.

Harkless got hot tonight but I still have reservations. Shaky handles and a bit Stiff for a sf. Really struggles to change direction. I think it's a battle between him and crabbe for time. I could see both being in and out of the rotation throughout the season.

Overall, it was a fun game and really excited to see how these guys develop.

I agree. Harkless looked like garbage until he got hot...... I'm actually pulling for crabbe to be In the rotation over harkless. I think crabbe can play better in a team game

Replay is on CSNNW now for anyone that missed it or wants to watch the first three quarters again. :)

I like Crabbe but once Harkless gets comfortable w/ this team, I think Harkless is the better player all around (the 1 exception will be fg% by a little bit in favor of Crabbe) & he's gonna have a career year w/ us!:ygrin:

Most impressed with Vonlah tonight.

He has a dope spin. Add a drop step and the desire to be a black hole on offense and hes an all star.

sent from a phone you've probably never heard of

my cents:

-Leonard is doing too many things he can't do, should stick to what he knows (open shots, setting picks, fast breaks).

-Harkless looked better than Batum, i think i was wrong about him and his shot.

-CJ didn't clean up his shenanigans from last year, i don't see him as a starting SG right now.

-Vonleh will develop faster than we all thought, he should start when he'll have more post moves and experience (sorry to break up our aryan front line so soon :bgrin: )

-We need both Pressey and Fraizer on the team, CJ does not look like he can handle PG duties at a high level so we need both reserve PGs in case Dame\Fraizer are injured.

-I would release Pat right now, i see no future use for him.

-Fraizer looked LEGIT, good pesky defense, good handles and you can't leave him open from 3 anymore.

-I wonder where Hendo and Kamen will fit in all of this.

Based on last night, I can't really argue with any of this. However, that's one game. Pressey, Connaughton, Montero and Johnson all looked worthless, but there's always Thursday.

I'm very encouraged about what we might see out of this team with a bench of Frazier, CJ, Crabbe, Harkless, Vonleh, Davis, Kaman. The three scrubs sitting behind those 7 are irrelevant this year.

Vonleh reminded me a lot of a super-young Bosh for some reason. Just the way he moved on a few plays.

There was a lot of mistakes that Pressey made last night. Him leading the team at the end was just the wrong idea.

Yeah, Pressey was really forcing in his minutes. He started out not doing well and then pushed harder and tried to go hero mode, but it didn't work. I expect he will look better in other games, but Frazier had the big win tonight.

Those four straight blocked/missed shots at the basket with his teammates wide open, for example. I thought after that play, "Dang, whoever that was just shot himself right out of a job."

Speaking of which, I feel like we need a constant reminder of who is on the court. I was TOTALLY lost sometimes.
