He himself admits he is a giant homer....that is why I used the word "admitted". He predicts the Blazers are going to win 60 games most every year and this year said he would come down to 50 because of some of the new players. I'm not dismissing him being closer than me at all this year and am very glad he was more correct. However, his prediction comes from a place of "admitted homerism" because he believes the Blazers have a legit shot to go to the WCF every season no matter what. While I can enjoy his optimism, that doesn't mean it is based in any reality...that is just what he chooses to believe. The same as someone who is constantly negative isn't likely based in reality either. Not sure where I mentioned being optimistic ANYWHERE as being a character flaw but then again, a lot of people are taking serious license with words and phrases today so maybe that is just a 'Monday' thing.
That's fine that he is that optimistic and it's fun for him but I wouldn't let him be handling any bets or investments anytime soon....lol.
