Kirilenko: Prokhorov Will Make Nets a Contender

In an interview with Russian TV, Andrei Kirilenko treats rumors of Mikhail Prokhorov’s interest in the Nets as fact and says “I’m pretty sure he can turn New Jersey Nets into a contender”. Kirilenko says he knows Prokhorov “very well” describes him as a “huge fan of basketball”. The Russian star notes Prokhorov turned CSKA Moscow into “the best team in Europe” and his goal is to help the Nets “do the same thing”.
