MIXUM needs to see this game. Maybe it will teach him something.

I thought the same thing. By his logic, the Lakers and Celtics won't sniff the playoffs, right? If they can't close a game against the Bobcats?

Well Bobcats > Lakers...they have owned us for years....good thing they arent a playoff team.
.

They will be a playoff team this season. No question. But the Lakers won't have to worry about them. They're in separate conferences.

this is GREAT news!
#1- Lakers lose..always a plus
#2- Double OT..win or lose, the more hoops you play on the 1st of a back to back is great for us
#3- They won, the odds of them winning any games on this road trip were slim, now they got the 1 win out of the way
#4- They could be ripe for an emotional let down

They bad part is is that they're confident, playing good basketball, and beating good teams. We have our work cut out for us. But I think we can do it. At the end of the season, we'll look back on it as a quality win.

Lakers will now go on the road.
The Lakers, who've played an NBA-high 27 home games and a league-low 17 road games, open a six-game trip Friday night at Minnesota. They're 23-4 at home and 12-5 away. They'll play 22 of their next 31 games on the road. ... The Lakers are 4-5 overall against the Bobcats, who joined the NBA as an expansion team in 2004.
Sounds like our roadtrip in December.

Well as of tonight they arent but maybe you will be right

Lakers vs Bobcats Finals!

Bobcats in 4 :drumroll:

I would be very surprised if Wallace played tomorrow. He had a bad back before the game even started and now a shot to his ribs with an elbow.

There are just some teams that don't match up well against others, regardless of record. That seems to be the case with the Bobcats and L*kers. On paper, there's no reason it should even be close in a contest between the two, but Charlotte always seems to play them well.

He's beyond any sort of teaching. Lost cause . . . move on . . . nothing more to see there.

Honestly, I don't understand why people try to reform him. It's a waste of time. And indulging him in his silly rants is just reinforcing his negative behavior.

Wow that sucks for GW--- hope he gets better soon.

BUT on the other hand, that's great news for us, if he doesn't play AND that they played such a long gamE!
