Hello 2.9m in cap space

Shaping up to be a good offseason so far. Now go out and get a 1C Gorton

He's not getting a number 1 center. Get off the crack pipe. That would cost our entire farm. Trade Holden. Try to trade Staal. Go young on defense and build another top, young defense.

Won't get a # 1 C, but clearly can add a top 9 C, and I think he will. Could even be in a deal for Holden, we'll see. But adding another top 9 C/forward should be tops on Gorton's list of things left to do.

Zibanejad should be able to get atleast 20g-40a, Hayes same, if Desharnais can find chemistry with Nash and Vesey, he might be able to get 15g 35a

Making the Bozak thing work with Holden+ is a good way to go I think. Toronto might be wavering on whether to deal him. Grigo went back to the K for 3y.

Klein had a good career. Interesting read on why he retired... lost the "fire" for the game. 32 is not old but life goes by quick and he wants to spend time with his family... best of luck

Ended up being a good trade for the Rangers, MDZ had worn out his welcome here. Wish Staal would have the same epiphany as he's risking long term health issues.
