The Knicks have been linked to other potential trade targets in various reports, including Zach LaVine in Chicago, Victor Oladipo in Houston and Lonzo Ball in New Orleans. A source said they’re also monitoring Portland’s CJ McCollum, who is rehabbing from a broken foot and still has about $100 million guaranteed over three years after this season.

The Blazers (18-10) have played well since McCollum’s injury, with shooting-guard replacement Gary Trent Jr. rising to the occasion. But it’s unclear if Portland is willing to deal McCollum.

I suppose deals would have to start with Randle (19 mil). I'd kick the tires on Frank, but his contract situation makes him less desirable.

I like CJ, and I like what he can do, but I think his absence has exposed a lot of whats at the heart of the teams issue with him starting (well, over exposed).

He needs his own team. Although, as much as I really like Trent, this could backfire. Trent really can't create for himself like CJ can.

Bottom line, if CJ wants out or Dame is on board, I'm on board.

Randle, Rivers, Robinson, and Ntilikita (we'd buy him out) for CJ and Nurk.

Randle is a more complementary second option for Dame because he can score in different ways off of Dames offense but still get his own shots and shots for others. Rivers is the piece we need in our back court rotation that we've been lacking since CJ has been out. Robinson defends the rim better than Nurk, rebounds just as well and is a dunk machine. This move also opens up space to re-sign Gary this off season and hopefully we can extend Randle and Robinson this off season too.

RJ is only 20 - but his advanced numbers are ugly. Anfernee Simons type of ugly.

Quickley or bust.

And to think, some said he should have been the number 1 pick. Higher ceiling than Zanos!

He was basically a Wiggins clone. One year of college exposed how overrated he was, but the Zion hype and Duke's overall success distracted people from that a bit. I argued he was only the 3rd or 4th best freshman on that team.

RJ Barrett, Elfrid Payton and unprotected 1st this year. Take it or leave it.

Randle is intriguing. Adds a different look. I just struggle with the remaining pieces coming in, and how to make it fit. And wonder if there is a 3rd team who would want their young pieces for another win now piece to come our way?
