Knicks had an easy win against the Celtics with Van Horn not being 100% and playing with Allan Houston. Stephon Marbury had 17 points and 7 assists. Van Horn and Anderson had 16 points each. Mutombo had 10 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks in the game.

note: We are one game behind the Celtics in the Atlantic Divison.

Next 5 games: Phoenix
@ Indiana
@ Miami
LA Clippers
@ Dallas

Ming if you do this every game why don't you write Knicks previews.

Paul Pierce shot 3-16? Horrible. If Pierce isn't on, Celtics won't win. Looks like Knicks are learning how to play some team ball. Marbury seems to be helping, and once the team knows him 100%, he'll get his assists to 10.

I don't really do this every game, seems like a tough job to do the previews, so I just do the post game news.

Oops, I messed up the score, Knicks win 92-74. Sorry.

Previews aren't hard, just a little time consuming.

Anyway, big win for the Knicks. Not only pulling closer in the standings, but sending a message to the Celtics. But more important that the Knicks' next five is the Celtics' next five...

@ Indiana
LA Clippers
Atlanta
@ Philadelphia
@ Cleveland

Those last two start a 7 game road trip for them, which they're bound to do no better than 2-5 on. This is where the Knicks will pull ahead.

Knicks might get to top 4 in the East before all this is over.
