Knicks, Grizz to screw Nets

Would anyone trade both Williamses and the #10 to Seattle for #4 and take Love? Seattle's 2 biggest holes are pg and pf. They get a player with potential at each position and still have a top 10 pick. I'm not even sure if I'd do it, but from what I read the Nets are in love with Love.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you did that, you'd be trading 3 first rounders for 1 first rounder and you'd only be picking up 6 spots in the draft. That's ridiculous. If they were smart they'd swap picks with the Bucks and also give them RJ and Marcus for Villanueva, Charlie Bell and Bobby Simmons. Then we could take Joe Alexander, and the Bucks would have a talented 3-man, plus the 10 pick to pair with Redd, Williams, Bogut, and Yi. Yeah, the Nets would have a bad contract in Simmons, but I feel like his contract would become extremely valuable, as a way for teams to get under the cap, and the Nets could unload him and free up money right before they make a run at Lebron. Plus, we'd have a legit starting 4 in Villanueva, a nice, an affordable Eddie House type shooter of the bench in Bell (only 3 million). And we'd have Joe Alexander, who could turn out to be the third best player in the draft. Just a thought, and it does work in the trade machine.

Well, some people think Marcus wouldn't even bring back an early 2nd round pick. So if that is his value then you would be trading a struggling former 1st rounder and a mid/late 1st round big with potential for the right to move up to #4 and pick a potential franchise big man. If that's how you perceived Love. I'm not sure if he is a franchise player, but from what I've read it seems like the Nets might feel that way. Also eliminates the potential issue of too many young guys on the roster. All you'll have are the 3 rookies.
