I'll say it first before someone else says it

"We wouldn't have this problem if we protected our pick."

I doubt this very much. Brown wants veterans and guys who can win now. If/when we do trade Taylor's expiring contract it will probably be for a veteran. Tyrus Thomas is a very intriguing prospect though. Kind of like a hard working Stromile Swift.

First of all the draft is looking better day by day. Second of all if it's such a weak draft why would a team trade their lottery pick for late first rounders? I dont think a team would give up their lottery pick for Maurice Taylor especially considering the way he played tonight. And finally why Tyrus Thomas of all people? I like him but is he really ready to contribute right away to a team that is trying to make the playoffs? I dont think so.


Anyway I think Isiah Thomas should be fired.

Taylor has an expiring contract. You know Isiah is going to trade him and Rose.

No, maybe if you add in Frye and take out a pick but even then the draft isnt very good and it wont be a very high pick.
