Twitter escapes me. So hard to understand if your not actually on twitter I suppose. I opened up the link and it was someone saying the Tmac rockets made nba16k or whatever.. sooo lost, and might be for the best. lol
 
I think Bird was the best of all time.
 
Seriously. MJ would dribble around all three of those guys so quick. He would slide between their legs and steal the ball and a guy like Larry would be standing there looking under his legs and around saying... " Uhh where did he go? Where did he go?"

Seriously. You guys think that any three of these guys had the lateral, side to side, D to keep MJ from goin around between and over them? HA.
Not trying to take away from any of them, and they all might be better overall, but MJ excelled in several areas that will never be touched and that alone would be enough to beat any one of the three one on one. And yeah, With MJ's hops, we would get some blocks on those outside jumpers of Bird's.

Actually I like him because he won three in a row, retired, then came back and won three more. That and he has undisputedly the best career highlight reel out there. The guy did things on both ends of the court that still slackjaw me when I watch the highlights.
MJ single handedly denied more hall of famers and all stars a championship ring...Let see:

Charles Barkley. No ring
Kevin Johnson. No Ring
Karl Malone. No Ring
John Stockton. No Ring
Patrick Ewing. No Ring
Clyde Drexler. No Ring till MJ retired
Gary Payton. No Ring till MJ retired


That's a stiff list of outright superstar players that MJ denied and I bet if I put more than 30 seconds thought into it,the list would double.

Those are the reasons I like him. Those are the reasons he is the best ever.

Shitty? They basically had everyone but MJ. It wasn't that shitty. Plus they had just won three championships in a row. You don't think they weren't still knowing how to play championship ball together?
Pippen came to us on a stellar lineup and couldn't win.
To say Pippen was as good or even better than MJ is delusional. See Tlong's definition of this word in one of the other threads to see what that means. :)

And there is a reason why. not marketing. Skill set. ;) Skill set led to marketing because no one could do the moves MJ could. Remember the commercials? The Cereal box posters? Check the highlights reel of his career. The NBA would have failed and might not even be around if they didn't try to push him. They would have been foolish not to I mean. Just because He was universally marketable and the biggest thing globally since ALI, doesn't diminish his skill set in the least.

How many years did he make first team All Defense? What is his career ave in Assist compared to others in his position?
The guy improved his outside shot almost every season in the NBA and became a legit 3pt shoot for the second half of his ring runs.
Come on now. You this jaded cause the guy has made more than anyone in sports history in marketing?
