How should the reaction be from Portland fans?

Not those "Laker" fans in attendance, but the Blazer fans who actually go?

I bet it's gonna be a lot of idiot Laker fans in attendance though.

We should all sing Fly Like an Eagle.
What if everybody went "Na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye!" at the end of the game?

I'm probably in the minority, some of you might even think less of me because of it, but I would stand up and cheer Kobe Bryant.

I think anything from Cheers to paying no attention would be fine. I wouldn't want to see people boo him.

He's not worth booing. Why would we?

Funny thing is, that guy is a straight up warrior! He would expect nothing less than BOOS! He would respect that. It has been kinda gross to watch the Lakers first couple games on this trip and these other fans and TV broadcasts are straight up kissing his ass. I will show probably one package showing him lighting us up, but thats it.

it might be a good chance to sell your ticket to a clown who will give you next year's Season Ticket Deposit for one game.

And I agree with HCP that he'd feed off the boos. And he has 4 games of more than 47 points against us, so there's plenty of highlight-reel stuff for you to choose from.

If you post anything from Game Seven, however...

Great movie. Better not touch his girl.

Have we started booing D'Angelo Russell and Julius Randle yet?

Fuck booing though, someone needs to start a THANK GOD chant.

The whole crowd chanting that would be epic.

This thing will never work. People get wispy washy and confused.

Booing Kobe would be the classy thing to do. He even said so last game and appreciated it.

I'm not disagreeing but he pretty much always gets booed when he plays in Portland. I wouldn't expect it to stop for his last game.
I thought of a reason I'd boo: To counter balance the fucktard Laker Flakers who invade our house and cheer. Fuck those Flaker fans piss me off.

I have no problem having a friendly rivalry with visiting fans in general. But those douche bag Lakers fans are a special kind of douche. Fuck them. The more they cheer the more Blazers fans have a duty to drown them out.

I think I was at Kobe's last great game. It was at the Rose Garden in April 2013. Dame had 38 points (and 9 assists) and Kobe had 47 points 8 rebounds 5 assists 3 steals 4 blocks in a win. Then he played two more games and got hurt. He was never the same again. I also, several years earlier, saw him score 65 points against the Blazers at Staples. All he had to do was touch the ball and throw up a shot and it went in. Incredible display of talent.

I'm so worried about this game. No, not because of whether the Blazers will win or not. I'm worried about the ticket prices for one. I definitely want to see at least one Blazers v. Lakers game this season, but you know, with the dynamic pricing that the Blazers will jack up that ticket cost. Also, I'm afraid he'll hear his name chanted throughout the night just as he has in road venues Washington and Philadelphia recently.

I really hope Portland fans boo and boo heavily. It's only right. He's been our most disliked villain over the course the last 15+ years, and cheering, even out of respect, just doesn't sit right with me. We don't cheer for Kobe and we don't cheer for the Lakers. I hope I'm wrong, but I could see him getting a decent ovation after the game.

I was at that 65 point game too. Honestly that's when most of my kobe hatred went away i left that game in a state of shock and gained some respect. I only hated him not for him but because he was a laker.

sent from a phone you've probably never heard of

Ill be at this game. 1/23/16. Ill cheer him if the crowd cheers him. I wont boo him if the crowd boos him, but I'm not starting anything either way.
I hope he doesn't get booed though. We are in transition. I want our team to show classiness from top to bottom. That means management, players AND fans. We want top tear free agents? Then lets start showing top tier players more respect. :)

Sold it for 4 times what I paid for it, and he probably won't even be playing (second night of a back-to-back, following the sperms on Friday night). Thanks, cobie!
