KP Meet & Greet

Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

I would appreciate if you didn't post pics like these. Too many of them might actually start to sway me away from thinking KP is just an arrogant ass. It's nice to see the guy take time out for smaller groups like this.

If you're interested in attending, please send an e-mail to me at atlblazerman@gmail.com

This is an invitation-only event which will be held on a weekday (Noon until 4-ish) during the latter half of September.

Thanks

sent you my email. Thanks!

So it's back to being a Meet & Greet? I thought some in here wanted to make it a Tar & Feather.

its not??? Oh.. ABM I take back my email I sent ;)

forget the meet and greet! can this guy please do something first before he runs for mayor!!!!!!!!! take it down abot 7 notches. Get to work KP because you have been getting owned all summer, enough with the meet and greets like u won a title, gets busy at the office!

LOL no. My allegiance hasn't switched to Houston.

His barbque place was good though. I think he lives by me also because I see him at the store every now and then.

Funny story about Clyde. My kids and I were at the store and saw him. My oldest son (8) has a Brandon Roy jersey.

Clyde speaks up and says "do you think he's the best player the Blazers have ever had"

My son says "yes sir"

Clyde says "I'm not sir, my name is Clyde Drexler". He shook my kids hands and said "Have you ever heard of me?"

My son says " Oh yeah, my dad talks about you all the time"

Clyde says "ah, so at least I'm his favorite" and laughs.

My son says "no. his favorite is Terry Porter, is he here?"

Drexler laughed really hard and told my son to come seehim at a Rockets game that night and he would have tickets. We went and Clyde gave both my kids a ton of signed crap from his Blazer days. He talked to them during timeouts and quarter breaks and introuced them to several Rocket players. He really went out of his way to make their night special.

That is hilarious! Is he, at least, you and your kids' second favorite player now?

Yeah, I was wondering if 'ucatchtrout' was 'steelheader' and whatever he was before that...'catch n release' or something. And what about 'Arizona Bay' and 'So Cal Blazers Fan'...are these people still around in some modification?

 always been ucatchtrout :pimp:

The way this is "tentatively" shaking out..................

Noon until (hopefully) around 2 PM - the Meet & Greet with Kevin at Hayden's Grill in Tualatin

Directly following that, we'll be heading over to the Practice Facility for the grand tour - including (hopefully) some time with Nate, other coaches.....and perhaps hook-up with a player or three.

I'm also working on putting together a happy hour featuring another special guest following the M&G/Tour event

Again, if you're planning on attending, please send me an e-mail at: atlblazerman@gmail.com

I'll be sending out the finalized invites based upon that list. Everyone is free to bring a guest. I want to keep the entire group to within 30-40 folks.

Thanks,

ABM

please accept the email from Epic Fail Gilderhus, he is a good friend of mine and will just be moved back to the area from the Midwest

Sent you an email. Let us know when it's filled!

If he doesn't you could always bring him as your guest. :dunno:

Don't encourage BrianWheeler to bring guests. He's Mexican, he'll bring more "homies" with him then you can fit clowns in a clowncar.

Wheels just confirmed he's on for the Happy Hour following the PF tour.

Sounds like this is going to be a cool deal. Where is happy hour planned? Since we can bring a guest I may bring my wife with our newborn son.

Yep. :)

Hayden's Lakeside Grill in Tualatin. Details will be e-mailed to you soon.

I just sent you an email. I'll be in Portland with my wife and baby boy in the latter half of September taking some leave (if that's still the time frame). We're trying to plan a Las Vegas weekend sometime in that period. I'd love to nail that down during a time when the meet and greet isn't happening. But anyway, put my wife, myself, and my little monkey down.

LOL Well played SPD (Seniors and People with Disabilities) :P
