Naturally neither of these sources is willing to go on the record but they are in a position to know, every bit as much as every "unnamed GM" is in a position to know about the inner workings of the NBA."

VERY unsurprising. I knew it had to be from one GM, rather than a bunch of GMs from around the league. Warkentein's done a good job in Denver and did a good job here, but man.. he's got to let Portland go..

Better to send hate mail to the writers who use him as their unnamed GM. Obviously they would know his motivation to always be critical of KP.

No, I sent him an email. My friend had the same condition and underwent the same procedure Sunday that Lamarcus had/underwent at the end of his rookie year. I sent the email on Monday about noon, my friend went into the cath lab around 1:30, and the stuff was given to his parents in the waiting room before he got back to his room around 4:00.
