KP with his back against the wall... What will he do?

Of course they would take Batum. He's younger and will be a lot better in a few years. Right now though, I think Peja is better.

How are you enjoying that brand new operating system Microsoft just got out, what is it called? Windows 2000?

Of course they would take Batum. He's younger and will be a lot better in a few years. Right now though, I think Peja is better.

Just so you know, Peja who is supposed to be a shooter shot 40% and 39% from three. That's ignoring his defense. Batum is a better shooter overall by 12% (52%), and the same from three.

Batum shoots 52% (compared to Peja's 40%), shoots 40% on threes (compared to Peja's 37%), outrebounds Peja, scores two points less, has nearly as many assists per game, blocks more, steals as much, in seven minutes less a game while providing significantly better defense.

Really? Really?

Peja is done, his back has given him lots of problems and he can't defend a chair at this point of his career. Now if we're talking about prime Peja then I would agree that the apex of his career eclipses what Batum currently provides.

Trade Pryz, Miller, Pick for Paul.

Trade LMA for Bosh.

Trade Rudy and pendergraph to NY for Lee

There lies my tasks for KP

Paul, Bayless
Roy, Webster
Batum, Cunningham
Bosh, Lee
Oden, Camby

Think this line-up just might get it done!

Good luck KP

Regardless of everyones opinions, Paul isn't coming here for Miller, Joel and Webster. It's just not going to happen, so in order to get him you will need to give up some very nice players. Subtracting those players from this roster doesn't make it a whole lot better than NO roster how it is already constructed.

So what is better about Peja? His same rebounding stats in more minutes than Batum? His same Assist Totals in more minutes than Batum. His worse shooting % than Batum? His slightly more PPG than Batum in more minutes? Surely it must be Peja's Defense then right?

LMA isn't enough talent or money to get Bosh

Joel and Miller for a top 5 player in the league? Really?

Rudy and Pendergraph aren't enough money to get Lee.

^^^Homer^^^ ;)

No one thinks that.

Instead of labeling everyone else as a homer, maybe you need to think of yourself as a hater?

What does West do better than Aldridge?

He speaks truth!!

LaMarcus and West are pretty similar in talent. The big thing West has over LMA is simply his contract because it's pretty small compared to LMA's. If LMA were to play with a player the caliber of Chris Paul in terms of being able to create easy buckets for big men, LaMarcus would be an all-star as well.

Not a whole lot, but he does face the basket and can attack the basket off of the bounce. :dunno:

And in the end 64% of Aldridge's attempts are jumpers while West is at 62%.

They're basically the same player. I'd say they're equal.

What part of "not a whole lot" do you not get?

I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing that people are having a problem distinguishing LMA from David West.

I guess, I don't think NOH, if the situations were reversed, would have a problem "headlining" a package to get Roy with West. It seems as if people in here wouldn't add LMA and Batum to get CP3. :dunno:

I'm not going to get worked up if we can't close on Chris Paul and if we don't make a major move today. Zero great players have moved so far and I trust we are involved making deals that make sense. Adding two more good young players or some Euro talent will give us more depth and make a consolidation trade(3 for 1 or 4 for 1) easier to take in the near future.

At least KP isn't swinging wildly and offering the house to try and save his job. I give the guy credit so far as he has been involved in moving for a lottery pick and Chris Paul. Not one other team has landed a all-star or great blockbuster trade. No team in our division has improved, so I won't panic. There is still time and I will still hope we land a all-star next to Roy. As far as we know, we offered a good deal for Chris Paul and maybe this trade talk will be revisited in the near future. Go KP! You won't be unemployed long if Paul makes a mistake anyway.
