Give the game ball to Steve Blake. He hit two HUGE shots in the 4th and then picked up the big steal.

51-28

Unbelievable.

Let's not sleep on the Clippers. I'll be there!

Here's an idea if you get there early.

Phillips’ Milk of Magnesia in the Clippers' gatorade barrel.

Normally, I want to pull my hair out when a coach repeatedly calls timeouts in te last 2 minutes. I feel like it disrupts the team and is counterproductive. Tonight, I think Nate used his timeouts well. It's a subtle thing....but Nate gets so much grief around here, I feel like he needs credit when it is due.

I finally agree with you. (LOL) Nate pitched a great game. Made all the right calls

Definitely. He kept the team focused on winning. It's so easy to get carried away... our crowd is like a mob with pitchforks, and it bleeds into both teams' psyches. Nate kept telling them to stay focused, and they did. Good job on him.

They've spit the season series 12 years in a row? Wow.

That doesn't sound quite right, because I know they've had years where they only played a three game series, so 'splitting' wasn't possible. But if it's true that there have been no series sweeps in all that time then yes, that is really impressive.

There have been two 2-1's which would make a split impossible, but they each took one of those. They are tied in the regular season over the last 12 years, as the other ten seasons were split evenly.

anyone else like the way the offense was run through oden in the 4th when roy was sitting? he scored a couple of times, got to the line, and basically put the blazers in the penalty fairly early in the quarter. those are the kind of things he offers offensively.

i loved at one point the lakers talking about how he basically just had a little hook shot and no other moves. seemed like the next time down the floor he spun around bynum with a nice move for an easy lay in or dunk.

Rudy does play great in big games!

Bynum plays Oden like an adult; he doesn't flop around like some random Euro center. And in a lot of ways, that's why we were able to go to Oden consistently for a few plays. And Oden did well; not perfect or dominating, but he played very solid ball and gave us someplace to go to when the pick and roll wasn't working.

Give the kid time to re-learn his FT shot and get better with the baby hook, and he'll be a great offensive option.

Didn't get to see the game, but let me just say...

FUCK YES. :ghoti:

Can't wait to check out the highlights.

Not only that he really stood Bynum up in the post and more than held his own against him defensively, something I'm not sure Bynum will be able to do when Greg fully gets his explosiveness back and gets more polished scoring from the block.

Good times.

Watching on NBATV and during the Blazers hilite they said 'usually it's Sergio, but this time it's Blake to Rudy for behind the back jam' and it was obviously Sergio!

Later in the game they said "Sergio for his 4th assist", which he had made 5 minutes earlier just before Blake came back in.

So LA fans.. Do you still want us in the playoffs?

That's a very informative thread. I learned a lot, such as the Lakers never led in the game tonight and the Blazers have only lost five times at home this year.

They're a learned and informed bunch with a real mastery of the game.

I just got back from the game and I swear I saw Mixum before the game outside the RG. He had a Kobe 8 Jersey on and a little kid with him.

Yes, I was being sarcastic. You know it could never be that we just outplayed them, could it? L*kersground.net always has an excuse.

I'm sure many would have blame the refs if we loss.
