I think they should give him the same salary that Al Jefferson gets ($65m). Al-Jeff is a better low-post offensive player, LMA is a better defender. Overall - he is clearly above the Millsap/Bargnani level - and at this point, seems like he is at the Al-Jeff level.
Give him that, make him happy and maybe offer some incentives if he becomes a much better rebounder/makes the all-star team/the team makes the WCF...

to be fair, aldridge is a starter and millsap was going to be a back up
I'm sure Portland is going to use David Lee and Millsap as their measuring stick. However, LMA's camp should use Bargnani and Al Jefferson as their comparisons. I think $65M is a "fair" number.Well that's true, but him getting two and a half times what Millsap gets is excessive.
