Congrats!

Now get out there and start earning some money! We have an economy to fix! ;)

What institution do we have to thank for releasing you into the career world?

I'm actually thinking of going back to school for a higher degree and then going onto teaching political science. Either that or becoming Denny's most hated politician. ;)

Good for you. My father was a poli/sci major at Purdue. Good choice.

Congratulations. It's a huge deal and you should be proud.

That's terrific, congratulations!

Can I have some extra ketchup for my fries?

EDIT: THIS WAS MEANT AS A GOOD-NATURED RIB, NOT AN ABRASIVE INSULT

Congratz! I remember when you were just a little girl and now you're all grown up. What a proud moment for me. And for you, too, I guess.

*Waits for distasteful Monica Lewinsky joke*

Nice job though. I'm just finishing up my first year of college and don't really know wtf I wanna do. Definitely not politics, too much work. I guess that's why I'm in Sociology with all the other slackers right now. I'm thinking about information systems management though.

Hey awesome! I graduated with a 3.5 and that was low enough for my grad school I got into to put me on conditional admittance :(

but yeah, congrats!
Really? At WSU you only need a 2.75 to get into grad school...

I was going to get a Poly Sci degree then noticed there were zero jobs for said degree (except for teaching).

So get your ass out into the real world and prepare for the next 40+ years of your life to be consumed by uncaring bosses, irresponsible co-workers and possibly insubordinate subordinates.

My advice to you is to start drinking heavily.

Welcome to the ranks of the disreputable.

That's where the future lies.

Mozel tov, Anima.

What was your major? (Forgive me if you stated this elsewhere, my memory has declined since my college days at Berkeley/UW)

I sure wish I would have gotten a college degree. Heck, I wish I would have even just graduated from high school! :(

Congrats to you. I'm sure you'll spend it (the degree) well. :)

HEY! WHO LET YOU BACK ON THE BOARD???

Oh Sorry Anima I didn't see this thread before. I found Political Science to be quite interesting.

Belated congrats, very cool of you to finish. :O

Yeah, at PSU (Portland State U., the cheapest non-community college in Oregon) you need a 3.0 to get into my grad program. I had a 3.4 undergrad and they said I have to get a 3.33 in my first 2 terms or they'll boot me the fuck out. Oh, and B is the lowest passing grade for grad school. B- and I can't apply it to my degree.

WTF PSU.
