Andre: 7 points (3-10 shooting), 7 assists, 5 boards, 5 TOs.

I find it hard to believe we can't upgrade from that.

Because Kobe isn't a league leader in T's this year, right? And because Odom didn't get one earlier?

Kobe has been arguing and pointing at the refs all night, but don't want to take the superstar out. It is cool, I would love if the refs favored my team. Of course, it was our lack of execution that lost it for us, but refs love them the Lakers.

Edit: Sorry, I mean Stern loves him them Lakers.

Nate needs to manage Aldridge's minutes better. You can spare an extra 2min in the 2nd Q and 3rd. You don't need to kill this guy.

Mamba, I noticed you didn't hop on until the L*kers had a chance to win. You are a true L*ker fan in your fanbase's frontrunning tradition.

Tough loss. Needless to say, the season is over.

Out y'all -- gnite.

Lol excuse me for havin' school.

Haha, you're kidding right? Refs gave the Blazers every chance to win the game. How about 24 fouls to 13 for the Blazers? How about 25 free throws to 11? And some of those free throws are intentional fouls.

I think we learned a valuable lesson in that fourth quarter: Fewer long jumpers, more LMA on the block.

Are you serious? We went to Aldridge three straight times at the end off reg and he choked all three times. The long jumpers are what kept us in it.

Thank you.

I do have to say that the refs kinda did put on their Laker Goggles near the end of this game. But we have little excuse for going ice cold in the last 4-mins of the 4th qtr.

The loss is bittersweet, at least we showed we can hang with the Lakers. This should make them think hard if they're in a 7-game with us.

What about the blown calls where Aldridge got hammered at the very end of the game? Or that weak foul on Gasol for the and 1 in OT? I am not saying the refs costed us, but they didn't help matters.

I think Rice must post in here... man he is annoying.

Aldridge is still in the game

Give it a fucking rest McMillan. Stop killing this guy.

This loss is 100% on the Blazers reliance on streaky 3-point shooters. We need more consistent offensive production.

Let's not forget Kobe & Jackson's ten minute tantrum near the end of OT w/ no technical called.

There is zero excuse for going scoreless in the last 4:20 of the 4th. That meltdown was a total team effort.

C'mon. You're a true L*ker fan. You mouth off before the game, until the L*kers lose their lead and then when you know you're going to win.

Question: How many cell phone batteries do you bring to Staples?

Batum gagged in the 4th quarter. I put the loss on him.

I honestly don't get it. I really don't. I'm not looking to win via lawyerball, but that was silly.

We gave up a great win by missing FTs and open threes. They doubled Aldridge on the touch for the entire fourth, and we couldn't hit open shots. Nothing else to say about this one.

Just hope there's no carryover effect, because this team doesn't seem particularly strong (mentally) right now with all this trade hubbub.

Well the good signs:

Matthews is about as good of a defender on Kobe as you can ask for.

LMA can certainly beast against Gasol -- he just needs help!

Roy might be on his way back to being an NBA player

The defense was pretty good -- they held the Lakers to under 90 points in regulation.

If it takes Ron Artest to shoot out of his gourd for the Lakers to win, then you are a little on the unlucky side.

Now the bad:

I think RoyToy brings up a good point. Nate has to keep LMA fresh for the 4th quarter and go to him.

The Blazers need to repost when the shot isn't falling.

Rudy's not a very good ballhandler. He ran a lot of time off the shot clock when he was bringing the ball up.

The Blazers desperately need another rebounder to help out LMA. When the Blazers were missing 3 pointers there was no one besides LMA trying to rebound. Rudy played fairly well in trying to be active but the Blazers were sorely missing Camby.

The Blazers got the beneficial calls throughout the course of the game. So what if the Lakers got a few calls down the stretch...they deserved it with they way they were playing. You can't tell me with a straight face that the Lakers didn't get any blown calls during the game either.

Blazers lost this game because they couldn't close down the stretch, or hit free throws. Man up, move on.

Twas a great game as always. YOu were the hottest team in the NBA and put up an amazing fight. I'll be bowing out now before maxiep has a heart attack. See ya'll next month I believe.

Roy is back, btw, and that's awesome news. He looked pretty decent, I thought. Need to integrate him into a better role, though.

Yes I understand that and I pointed out already I blame the lack of execution more than the refs. However, when we should be getting free throws, but don't get them, it can help change a game as well.
