Jesus. Really? For BYNUM???? When Denver already has Nene?

First the Gasol trade, then this? Please tell me that Stern isn't pulling the strings in the background... after all, his stated ideal Finals is "The Lakers vs. The Lakers".

They were just in talks with NY for Wilson Chandler basically being the centerpiece. I'd say getting Bynum is a just a tad bit better than that.

he's also an Oden jr as far as injuries go, and I'm sure they would have a Nene trade or even a Bynum follow up trade - Bynum to TOR for their TPE and 1st rdr? or Nene instead?

As I said in the other thread, this could just be Denver trying to get some leverage to artificially increase Melo's asking price from NY.

Its disgusting because Dwight Howard is the next to go to the L*kers. Fuck the NBA.

im glad people in this forum are waking up when it comes to trades.

you can give crap and get studs. look at knicks offer for proof.

2013 L*kers:

OJ Mayo
Kobe Bryant
Carmello Anthony
Pau Gasol
Dwight Howard

Fuck my life.

You can give crap and get studs if you are in the top 5 markets in the country. There's the real truth.

if the new CBA does not change things so that this is dramatically discouraged thru cap limits or whatever, then time to find a new sport and team to follow

this would fuck us so bad. we play lakers 3 more times. grizz dont play them again.

He's already insinuated he'll take less money to be in LA.

More proof we need a franchise tag in the next CBA

LOL @ Jim Buss.

The Lakers recently turned down a deal for Carmelo Anthony because Jim Buss, the owner's son, does not want to part with Andrew Bynum.

The News has learned that Jim Buss, who holds the title of Lakers VP of Player Personnel, rejected a deal for Anthony, who would gladly sign an extension with the two-time defending champs.

Buss has strong ties to Bynum, the New Jersey native who Buss drafted right out of high school. It was Buss who refused to trade Bynum to the Nets in a deal for Jason Kidd despite Kobe Bryant pushing for the trade.

In fact, both Kobe and head coach Phil Jackson are in favor of a deal for Anthony.

"If that's the case why don't they just go straight to Jerry Buss and tell him to make the deal," said one league executive.

It's unlikely that Denver would trade Anthony to Los Angeles unless a potential deal included the 7-foot Bynum.

Jim Buss has always been the prodigal son of the Lakers family. Always been kind of a guy who shouldn't be there running things but he is.

I can't imagine how Blazer fans would react if this Denver situation happened to Portland. Trade rumors left and right involving the team's best player. This is as bad Cleveland with James.

To a western conference rival no less. Its a slap in the face to the Nuggets fans to trade him to the L*kers after all the rivalries they've had the past few years.

Denver doesn't give a shit. It's a Broncos town. The Thuggets are small potatoes.
