Lasellout
I didn't quote him at all. I said fact, not lip service to the fansBuuuut. He also told us fan he wanted to be the greatest blazer ever. Just saying, if your gonna quote him ,quote him accurately from both sides. Not jsut for what fits your narrative.![]()

I expect fans to get over it after 3 years.Oh god you are impossible Semantics dude. You said he told Neil something.
Anyhow, You just said it. HE gave the fans lip service and you expect the fans to be cool with it? GIMME a break.
But playing devils advocate, wouldn't fans have bitched if he went public because it lowers his trade value?I blame Neil, but I also blame LaFucktard for putting us in a corner by never publicly saying he wanted to be traded. By telling the fans that he wanted to be the best Blazer of all time, he made it impossible to trade him without angering the fans. Hell, there were people who were absolutely convinced right up until the last second that he would come back.
I expect fans to get over it after 3 years.
ESPECIALLY after several people with sources told everyone here for at least a year that he wanted out.
I agree with you but I never really liked Aldridge that much anyway. But playing devils advocate, wouldn't fans have bitched if he went public because it lowers his trade value?
That answer is yes. For me, he did it the right way.
What grudge is there to hold though? He informed management he wanted to be traded. Never went public, so we would have received full value for him.Fan = short for fanatic.
I rest my case. I expect you to get over that fact that fans are fanatic and will hold a grudge as long as they please.
Some obscure former Blazer. You know these sports geeks and their trivia.Who is everyone talking about?

What grudge is there to hold though? He informed management he wanted to be traded. Never went public, so we would have received full value for him.
It is what it is. Other than 3 or 4 other people that heard the same, it's impossible to prove a conversation without recording it cause some internet geeks want proof. You have never offered proof that that happened. I'M not saying it didn't, but does it matter? The grudge is he told us, the fans, he wanted to be the best Blazer ever. What do you not understand about that and how a fan could not like him anymore for that?
Using your own words, get over it. Fans will hold the grudge as long as they like.. I guess you are free to be annoyed by that if you like, but then what makes that any better than the fan who is still holding the grudge... lets be consistent here shall.
For the record, I am totally over it and moved on over a year ago, but I can totally understand the fan who never moves on and boos him for the rest of his NBA days, and I would not think any less of that fan.
I would have been more pissed if I had bought his Jersey after saying he wanted to be the best Blazer ever though. I wonder how many bought his Jersey after that? Id ask for my money back. LOL
Anyhow, You just said it. HE gave the fans lip service and you expect the fans to be cool with it? GIMME a break.
His ego was hurt
Oh I blame Neil. But I still blame Aldridge for being half the player he could have been, as well as a poor teammate.Sore knee.
