I hope the injury makes LA go straight up, instead of always swiping at the ball. That's how he injured himself. He might need lessons from Joel though.
Is this good?
Winning is good yes.
Anyone notice he was much less aggressive on the offensive boards and on defense? Understandable since it was his first game back. It will be interesting to see if it continues. Regardless, once we get Rolo back it shouldn't be a liability problem.
Sounds like the last 48 hours have been good to LMA. Props to him for trying it out himself and really leading by example..
I was also wondering about the "risk not worth the reward" he said the other night. And sounds like that Boston loss definitely had some influence.

Post Game Interview with LA last night
Jabari Young: "Did the last two games have an impact on your decision, in seeing the way the team played in the losses?"
LA: "Uh, the last one definitely you know, that wasn't a good loss. And I feel like we didn't look good out there . . . "
Crazy to think that if Evan Turner doesn't hit that 3 how things would have played out. LA might have gone ahead with the surgery thinking the team will be ok grinding out enough "ugly" wins to stay afloat while he was out. But it was scary how hard we played and still couldn't beat a weak Eastern time like the C's at home. Intensity was there, but with no playmakers other than Dame it was a struggle. In the back of everyone's mind was a stretch like OKC had to start the season w/o KD and WB. Who knows how many wins we would have had? But a stretch like 3-12 might have dropped us to the 9th spot in the West by the time he makes it back. After the Boston loss, it felt like the season could be slipping away. Imagine missing the playoffs after a 30-8 start. I get why he came back. I also understand why some fear we're mortgaging the future (post season success) midway through the season. We're going to need a healthy LA to win playoff games for sure. But if he had the surgery, we might not even get there. And so it goes . . . another chapter for the book on how schizophrenic it is to be a Blazer fan that somebody has to write someday. Highs are high, lows are tragically & heartbreakingly low, and sometimes unexpectedly proceeded by another high.
