I don't know that he really deserves this (I go back and forth), but I've heard some good LMA nicknames since the series ended.

Here are a couple:

LaMattress
LaMarginal

anybody got anything they want to add to the list?

Thinner - because he "gets off the paint". Doesn't quite work, but there's a funny in there somewhere.

It's not something I'm proud of, but I have been known to yell "LaMarcie" at the TV when he throws up yet another fade-away jumper.

Would someone please hook up Rice's backbone to a cord and give him an electric shock every time he calls Aldridge L.A.? He seems on a mission to convert us. He uses it many times per game. Hardly anyone else ever says it. Everyone else knows it means Lakers.

Maybe it's because I don't take it seriously ... but hearing them (or reading them) made me laugh and I think we all need a good laugh about now.

I figure this exercise can be a catharsis for some, and maybe we can get all of the hate out of our systems so we can more honestly evaluate him and realize that's he's a very good player on par with Luol Deng and that aint so bad. Wishful thinking I'm sure.

no doubt. I understand frustration on not winning, but it's a team game. Why did Phoenix double him most every time he touched the ball if he totally sucks? If everyone is healthy on the Blazers he's the 3rd option. Options 1 & 2 are severely limited and out and he's this year's goat for not being better? Classic form for this site

it would be great if he'd still come through with his game despite facing regular double teams, but he would have been playing over his head if he had. Personally I'm pissed off Greg and Brandon for getting injured... who do they think they are, human beings?

How about Man. Because that what he is compared to some of you couch geeks who somehow feel better when they belittle some of the greatest athletes in the world with childish little nick names. Either come up with a name that you can call him to his face or go back to your mothers basement and pretend you once knew how to play ball other than one of your computer games.

You can easily stop that -- just stand in the painted area and he wont go near you, or anywhere within 5' of the hoop.
