I got an advanced copy of an upcoming article about LA that will appear in SI. It is a PDF file. Any of you guys know how I can put it on here?

I really want to read it, but I would bet money that doing so would cause everyone financial trouble

Interesting that they're coming out with an article now, after he's cooled off a little.

I can't post a pdf file on here can I? I'll email it to anybody that knows how to post it.

You may be able to copy and paste it here, assuming it's not just a scanned image.

1) Open the file
2) Highlight the text by clicking on it and then dragging your mouse cursor to the end of the text
3) Press control C to copy it to the clipboard (command C if you're using a Mac).
4) In S2, click in the Reply to Thread box and then press control V to paste the text into the window.

Damn you geeks and your grasp of technology!

IMO, he has only "cooled off" because Gerald Wallace, Marcus Camby, and Brandon Roy are back on the court (or new to the team, in Wallace's case).

It's the same reason Kevin Love wouldn't/won't average 23/15 on a playoff team.

Shouldn't more options mean less double teams and more options to pass to when double teamed? Part of the reason we blew that Laker game was because Aldridge would get doubled and we couldn't figure out what to do. More cutting, since we don't have the shooters to kick out to.

exactly this.

I don't think you watched the end of the Laker game. LMA wasn't double-teamed. He drove the ball into the middle against Gasol.

I watched the end of the game, have it DVR'd. Artest was constantly leaving his man to double LMA everytime they kicked it in to him. I've watched the end of the game twice.

Yeah, I just watched it again. It wasn't a fast double, but it was a double. I stand corrected.

Click go advanced below quick reply box.

On that page is "Manage Attachments"

I actually liked that article. Didn't realize that LMA still isn't really close to any of the other blazers.

Disgusting the way his HS team froze him out because he was so good.

The delayed double is intentional, to get LMA into his across-the-key maneuver. By doubling then, it makes things difficult for LMA to adjust to, since he's dribbling and not holding onto the ball with both hands.

As somebody who was really quite introverted until my late teens, I've definitely seen firsthand how people misinterpret shyness for arrogance. I suspect his teammates collectively said to each other, "Well, if he's too good to talk to us, let's fuck him over. That'll show him."

You can blame his teammates for being immature pricks, or you can blame Aldridge for not developing the social skills to make his teammates feel good about playing with him.

Or don't blame anybody and just marvel at how people fuck themselves over by not recognizing their own weaknesses.
