If it's battery life is better than the android I currently have, I'll be pretty happy. Seems like I'm constantly trying to find a socket for that bad boy.

yeah but you can replace the batteris in the android. i got a 3500mH battery for my EVO (vs. 1440mH for the iphone).

i also had a 3500 with my evo but still my iphone 4s lasts longer than my evo did, somehow. And I don't have to walk around with a brick in my pocket.

yeah? hmmm....we'll see. i'm kind of back and forth with it. i think what i'll do is replace my phone one more time with my insurance then get the iphone (my phone is legit fucked up the front facing camera is all pixelated).

I've got a droid that I'm reasonably happy with, but giving some thought to an iPhone. That said, I'm definitely sticking with Verizon and it seems like they always play games with which wireless companies will carry the new phones. My contract is up on August, so maybe I'll hold off upgrading until they make some announcements.

Anyone here had both a droid and an iphone that feels strongly one way or another?

I have an iPhone 4 through Verizon, and never have any issues with it.

I'm hoping T-Mobile finishes upgrading their network in the next few months. Once it's upgraded it should be compatible with the iPhone on 3g and hopefully LTE. My 3 year old Mytouch is getting really old and I'm looking at either getting the Galaxy S3 or an unlocked iPhone. I like prefer my wife's iPhone4 work phone over my Android, but I'm sure most of that has to do with my phone being on Froyo (Android 2.2). If iPhones end up working pretty well on their network I'll probably end up going that route. If not, i'll go with the S3.

The 3G with Verizon is fast enough for what I need right now. Plus, I have an unlimited data plan, which is nice because I basically just run all of my work queries and requests on it. It has cut hours out of my day, just because of the ability to expedite things and have it synched with my work notebook.

I'd like to stay on T-mobile, so that's the big issue. I have a family plan with my wife and her grandma and for all 3 phones (2 being Androids w/ unlimited Data/txts and the other being a flip phone w/ unlimited txt) I think its under 130 after tax. I know alot of people are using out of contract iPhones on T-mobile, but until they finish their network upgrade you're stuck on EDGE (2G), which is pointless in my eyes (I think for Portland the upgrade is complete, but it's not down here in San Diego). If T-Mobile LTE ends up not working on the iPhone5 I'll probably end up with the 4s over the Galaxy. It'll still be a massive upgrade compared to what I'm using now.

If T-Mobile gets 3G for the iPhone, it's well worth it for you to have that, and keep the rest of the family on the other phones.

There is nothing out there like the iPhone 4. It's simply awesome. I got mine at the beginning of the summer after finally giving up Crackberry, and it changed my work life. Instead of having to be in front of this damned computer all day, I'm able to be much more mobile. Plus, it has cut down on my opportunity time to post here, which is always a good thing. :)
