I'm not a fan of Morant's stupid decisions, but the union is only doing what the union is paid to do, like it or don't.......it's a rare business or company in general that willingly does right by their employees if they don't have to.
I agree wholeheartedly. I don't blame the owners for their reticence when it comes to dropping the hammer (no matter how well deserved) on a player and taking on the NBAPU.

Is this really any worse then Allen Iverson bowling alley incident?

This reminded me of a classic Rich Little bit, with Presidents playing poker:

Reagan: Fellas, please! We are here to play cards. I just raised you a quarter.
Carter:
Okay, I'll see you.
Nixon:
I’m in, too.
Reagan:
Well, what do you say, Gerry?
Ford:
I'll knock with five.
Nixon:
Gerry, we are not playing gin, we are playing poker, you imbecile.
Reagan:
Dick, please! You are speaking to a former President of the United States.
Nixon:
You are right. Pardon me, Gerry.
Ford:
I already did (!).

There are toxic locker rooms all over the NBA...supposedly the Hawks and Grizz are some of the worst...Memphis is a crime mecca....always up there in worst murder per population in the country.

I DO think this is important and worthy of a thread actually. There are plenty of people around the league waiting for the NBA and NBA players to screw up so they can say "these are the kind of people that don't stand for the flag and are pro BLM...". It's a silly argument because NFL players can be idiots too and Ja is an isolated case but we have seen how these things work. Will he be canceled? Should he be? I was not sure how serious it was until someone read the CBA section on guns. Ja is in deep shit

Reminds me more of Gilbert Arenas. Honestly can't blame these guys carrying protection, they are worth millions after all. Doesn't make sense in a club or a plane though. Just hire some big 300 pounders as security.

the very real danger of carrying a loaded gun on a jet, is the possibility the thing could go off, bust out a window, and cause the bird to crash.

Team plane and a gun is a big no-no.
whats the difference between having a gun on the team plane or any plane or having a gun at any place

regular people being allowed to possess guns is one of the most idiotic things ever, no-one except police, army, security etc should be allowed to possess weapons

So what you're saying is now he, allegedly, violated FAA rules. Obvious but never occurred to me. But yeah a gun on a plane...not a wise decision.

If you have a handgun in a restaurant you can certainly shoot someone, but it would be really hard to fly it into another building.

Save your logic stuff, bro, we're talking about Americans here...

WE SHOULD USE OUR GPII TRADE EXCEPTION TO TRADE FOR JA THIS SUMMER!
